Stardusty Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 The same hair mold your avatar is wearing? I know my sigfig is wearing the same hair, but when someone teases my about Bieber I don't care about it. I think Bieber is popular only because he has a lot of teenage fans, but I think his songs are bad and I don't listen them. But, some people get really irritated when Justin Bieber is mentioned, so I think that those Tuskens would say something like that if they would know who Bieber is. Nice outdoor shoots Bane. I think second one is a bit better. Quote

I just thought it ironic that you made fun of one minifig's hair when your sig-fig wears the same style. I think you have issues with Justin Bieber. haha. Moving along lets keep the bieber issues out of EB. Also agreed. Moving along... Quote

Bane Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 (edited) The transparent bricks disturb the good feeling of that pic, solscud. You should try to hide those bricks or find another technique to make it fly thanks guys - here's a new one! Trap in a Trap Boy-oh-boy. You wanna shoot that strange armed guy who's running on your territory. Too bad a random Sith is just about to dismember you. In this galaxy, everything is possible. Edited May 11, 2011 by Bane Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I now officially consider you just as good as smokebelch, Bane. Quote

I like the Sith pouncing on the Kashyyyk Trooper. Edited May 11, 2011 by Solscud007 Quote
Big Cam Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 Very summarized, but yes. There are many variations but the result is more or less the same. You can make the swords are crossed, or that they are like in the picture. Well, I'm a fan, good work! Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Ooh, I love that shot Solscud, very reminiscent of the Cold Snap CW episode in the first season. And Bane, lovely shots as always! Quote

XimenaPaulina Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Thanks. You cant see it but I gave Rex one of my Snowtrooper torsos to match what Rex wore in the episode. Actually I see it, that is indeed the perfect torso for a Cold-assault trooper. Quote
DarthR2-D2 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Ooh, I love that shot Solscud, very reminiscent of the Cold Snap CW episode in the first season. The episode was Trespass, the webcomic was "Cold Snap" Quote
Stardusty Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Yesterday was a beautiful day, so I took some outdoor pictures. (That's why I love Beatles, because of 'Yesterday'.) How clones spend their free time...? by hrcywindu, on Flickr Roses are red... by hrcywindu, on Flickr I'm not really happy with them. I should really go to the park once. Anyway, I hope you like it. Quote
Bane Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Well, I don't know. It's just like you put a Clone next to a flower and took a picture. If I were you I would try to change some things. You have to become One with the force... I mean, with your camera, the clone trooper and the flower. If you imagine being with them, you will change the camera angle, the positioning of the minifig (they look too freezed). The second pic has potential, but I would do something like... Trooper smelling the rose, with gesture, and watch out for the house in the background not to be seen. You have to correct the lightning, too. But your pics are quite good anyways. Keep on trying! Thanks to all who appreciate my work :) @Brickdocktor: thx. I don't think I'm at the limit of my capabilities, so I'm sure I can do way better. I want to try out some techniques Shobrick is using and I have some other ideas, too. :) Greetings Bane Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Bane, your out door shots are well framed but the lighting is extremely harsh. Try reducing your exposure a bit. Or perhaps a filter to dull the high spots. I get the feeling of glaring light from those shots. Quote
Solscud007 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I just finished building my AT-OT so I took some disembarking shots. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) I don't pretend to be an expert on macro photography, but those shots look a bit dim to me, Solscud. EDIT: Oops. I didn't notice my monitor had automatically dropped a little bit in brightness. Pretty nice job, Stardusty, but I think yours, on the other hand, are too bright. In the second one the bottom of the minifig isn't easy to look at. Edited May 13, 2011 by Brickdoctor Quote
Jedi master Brick Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I just finished building my AT-OT so I took some disembarking shots. Is this just to show off your clones? Joking, nice shots Quote

Especially for White Boba in picture 1. With this whiteness he looks like someone special. Quote

Solscud007 Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) So to make up for the crappy lighting and scenery of my AT-OT shots, I decided to try outdoor natural lighting and scenery. This is titled "Ambush" Close up of Troopers Waiting. Here Rex is on the edge of the abyss. Here is another Bikerscout shot. Edited May 13, 2011 by Solscud007 Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 The first one I find hilarious because it looks like both sides are waiting in ambush. So either they're going to sit there forever, or they'll both start to peek around the corner, get a nasty surprise, and blow each other up. Quote
