Darth CJ Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Yes very nice linko especialy the first one with the old commander droid. Darth CJ no need to quote the pic from the post above, just *snip* them out in your quote. Will do next time, thanks for the tip. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 Nice crisp shots, Linko. I like the background fading from orange to red. Will do next time, thanks for the tip. You can do it this time; just edit your post. Quote

RoryoCox Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Hello Everyone. After a long break I am back on the site and back taking more photographs. I hope you enjoy the following- Enjoy! Quote
Mr. McDuck Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Welcome back to posting! The images are great! What did you use for the sand ? And where is the rest of the Jedi from the picture (gone with the wind probably )? Really great photos ! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Welcome back, Burman! Lovely job. The little bit of what looks like rust on the lightsaber hilt makes that my favorite. Quote
Kaitan Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Not sure if this is the right thread to post in - It's not really a MOC or Diorama or Vig. I only built this purely for the photo, so I'm guessing this is the right place Besides, I'd feel silly giving it a thread of its own! "But it's SUPPOSED to be freezing! How we are ever going to dry out her clothes, I really don't know!" Taken with a Samsung Digimax S500 using just my iPad for lighting. Slightly edited to get rid of a hair that I didn't see until I put everything away and loaded the photos onto the computer C&C welcome! Kaitan Quote

I would repurpose it and make the Darth Vader scene on the Tantive IV. I know the pains of finding hair or dust in a picture after you have shot it. But other than that great scene. Was there another source of light behind you when you shot this? Quote

Been there, done that Most of my lego is in storage at the moment, so this photo was done with a very restricted set of bricks. (well, restricted compared to what I'm used to! lol) Thinking about it, yes there may be additional light leaking in from behind the camera... maybe I'll try again when it gets darker. Quote
Vindicare Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Burman, I really like that light saber shot. Well done. Quote

I recalled that setup but I didnt know it was you haha. Quote
XimenaPaulina Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 I love the mini-overhead light source of your Hoth Base shot Kaitan, especially with the resulting reflection of the images on the walls. Quote
Mr Man Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 Great shots Kaitan and Burman. Both are very atmospheric. Burman yours looks like a shot from mustafar or sulest with the volcanic ash. Quote
Darth Yogi Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Great shots everyone, now here are some new ones from me. Enjoy! Thanks for looking, please C&C. Quote

Mr Man Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Great shots everyone, now here are some new ones from me. Enjoy! *Snip* Thanks for looking, please C&C. I'm loving the first one Darth Yogi, very nice. Quote
Darth Yogi Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Nice shots Darth Yogi. Did you use natural lighting? I want to see more! Thank you very much. It is natural, but with minimal photoshoping. Also there will be more to come . Quote
WampaStompa Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Nice work Burman, Darth Yogi! Excellent Work on the Hoth Base Kaitan ! Here are a few from the Cantina ! Hey!...we don't serve their kind here! You just watch yourself. We're wanted men. I have the death sentence on twelve systems. Going, somewhere, Solo ? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Nice work, WampaStompa. Been seeing those on flickr over the past few days. I like the second one the best, I think. Did you cut out only the printed portion of Dr. Evazan's face decal? If so, most impressive. Quote
Remus_Lupin Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 Thanks for the welcome Brickdoctor! I don't actually have an awful lot of Star Wars, but man they're so photographic. Quote
