"There's two and a half centuries of success behind Heroica. You can't just abandon your group's cause over a few bad apples. The same goes for the Wolfgang, have you stepped into the Hovels lately? Every organization has people like that, but what matters is whether or not they know what to do to fix things and how to get there. It's never going to be perfect, but people chafe under the Houses every day."

I suppose you're right, it's just... you didn't see how close the powder keg in Baltarok was to being lit. How close we were to all-out war between Heroes. That's not the first time I've seen that, either. I don't know if the old Heroica ever came to blows like that, but... it just doesn't sit right.

I follow Erik's path to A4 and B4.

"That only happened because the other 'heroes' did not have all the facts, as we did. It was a disaster. If we had more time to explain... Perhaps we could have done the better thing. I was not impressed with some of our 'companions' at the end. Putting others in danger like that for their own purses. It'd be interesting working with them again, should they stay with Heroica..."

Hybros kept an open ear to the conversations between Dyric, Illdria and Guts, but other than an occasional raised eyebrow he kept his opinions to himself for the time being, and continued to focus on Em's back.

Erik leans against the wall to let Dyric and Obelix go past. Seeing they have the area covered, he retraces his steps and moves to D6.

Mortimer shakes himself off, grunting. "I'll move to E6 after you heal me, Hybros."

Em put his foot down on E6 and slowly moved to stand on the tile - it remained motionless this time, luckily. There were no unrevealed traps around E6.

Hybros nods, still trailing closely behind the Warden. "Here." He gives three more potions.

Hybros restores Em to full health.

"Maybe. But if you left things alone, I can just about promise there would've been a much worse all-out war in the making."

Thalion follows Erik's path - A6, A5, A4.

There was one unrevealed trap by A4, and two of them around B4.

Oh, I agree. If anything, it's more important than ever to keep fighting, or else who will?

Still, I can't pretend I don't wish this chaos was all over.

I wait to see Guts' results.

Erik remains where he is, waiting to see what happens to the other heroes.

Can we get an updated grid with spring traps & safe tiles?

Red dots are mines, numbers are the total number of nearby mines. I'm fairly sure it's all correct.

What Myrddyn said.

Mortimer continues on to E5, looting the crate at E4.

There was a total of three unrevealed traps around E5. Unperturbed, he thoroughly examined the table in front of him, including the mushroom atop of it. The spores, however, proved to be more than the warden could handle, and inhaling immediately knocked Em unconscious.

Guts uses his magnifying glass at A4, then loots A3.

Guts is unable to get a good read with his magnifying glass because of the trap on B5. Will he search A3 anyway?

Treading only over floor that has already been covered, (A6, A5, A4, B4) Erik makes his way to step for the first time onto B3.

Guts mutters: "I forgot about that trap. If there's a safe path from start to finish, there HAS to be a trap on the crate. B3 is the way to go."

"This is what I have, bit messy, but you can figure it out."

Erik steps slowly onto B3. There are two unrevealed traps surrounding it.

Hybros frowns, and bends down to try to shake Em awake, making sure to keep his mouth and nose covered with the cloth of his shirt. He hoped that without being in the heat of battle, Em would come to.

Guts steps to B2, then A2.

Guts determined there were three unrevealed traps around B2, and two around A2.

Erik steps to B2 and then C2.

Erik stepped slowly onto C2 and could tell two unrevealed traps surrounded it.

Hybros frowns, and bends down to try to shake Em awake, making sure to keep his mouth and nose covered with the cloth of his shirt. He hoped that without being in the heat of battle, Em would come to.

With Hybros' help Mortimer soon regained consciousness, although at 1 health.

Em shakes his head, vision swimming, and rubs his eyes. "Sorry, Hybros," he groans, trying to stand.

"I believe all ways forward have a 50% chance of being trapped. The exit is either A1 or B1." Guts knows there is a trap on A3, and tries disabling it with the help of his magnifying glass, if that doesn't work, he uses it from A2 to hopefully discover the exit.
