He also uses Potions/Remedies/Essences as necessary. Guts charges at the Wights with Mythril Edge from the front row if they're blinded, and the back row if they're not. He also uses Smelling Salts on Erik and a Sleep Bomb on the port front. Illdria swings her Rapier and Main-gauche at the Wights and Chemists from the front row. Zaises attacks the Sicarii Squad from the front row. Hoke does two sweeps through the starboard side and the bow of the ship, Torc spewing fire that is just barely dampened by the sheeting rain that sheaths the battlefield. Illdria flicks her rapier between the wights as she twists to drive the main-gauche into the chemists, keeping them as enamored and useless as she can. Hybros jumps up into the wights, cutting away at their eyes, but it doesn't keep them from screaming at the top of their undead lungs, disabling Erik and Guts. Hybros isn't quick enough to remedy both, but Guts makes up for it by flinging a bomb that knocks out the port side again and whipping up two more potent mixtures. Erik's magical vortex turns into ice, whipping around him violently and his wand managing to hex the Novices as he batters the Crimson Crown ahead of him, despite his fear. Thalion moves forward, striking at the Sicarii as Dyric and Em pin him down with bullets and arrows, causing him to bleed and poison him extensively. They lunge at the rapidly growing group of wights in the port side in their useless attempts to get at Zasies, who smashes her mace into their backs. Unfortunately for them, they don't manage to wear down the assassins enough to destroy them - worse still, even as the squad is bolstered, a second team of assassins crawls onto the deck, barnacles clinging to their cloaks. It occurs to the heroes that these Crimson Cronies are far, far older than the group they fought inside, but their focus remains on keeping the enemies at bay. Melville, meanwhile, appears to be gathering his focus for a spell of some sort. Dark magic swirls about his feet, the air around him crackling with an unknown energy. Hybros finishes out of the triangle of destruction they've formed on the bow of the ship, Zoot's Reaper gliding through his enemies swiftly and scattering poison all over the deck. Meanwhile, Erik, Zasies, and Thalion have formed a similar team, the group ravaging the hell out of the Crimson assassin teams, Erik's axe blows petrifying one of them and his spell blasting him into frozen bits of stone. Zasies ducks beneath his wild swings to ram her mace upside the head of a second, while Thalion has both their backs, whirling around Despair with ease and battering any who dare to try and take advantage of his fear. Torc does yet another fly-by to incinerate the enemies scattered about, helping Hoke gain some speed for a particularly strong blow on Melville. Dyric and Em have found some higher ground, calling out shots to one another as bullet and arrow pierce the thick curtain of rain that pours down on the heroes and the undead, even as more of them claw their way onto the deck of the Apocalypse. "Enough. This feeble attempt at resistance is over." "Haw. You keep say-" Melville raises his sceptre, focusing a torrent of black magic into the end of the weapon. The air - and the very space in front of him begins to warp and fold in on itself like a crumpled piece of parchment. A disturbing black aura wraps around the space, dampening the glow of the flames around it, and slowly, a shining tear appears in the fold, as though being sliced open from the other side with a blade. The tear splits open. The aura dissipates, tendrils of something like smoke or vapor spilling from where it appeared and fading into the air, leaving but one thing in its place. Despite the chaos of the lingering battle going on in front of him, Melville gets down on one knee, lowering his head. "My lady." "Melville." "The name-" "Stop." The figure's empty gaze slid to Soonavask, who instantly bobbed his head and fluttered over to her feet as if summoned. The figure looked back at Melville. "Your ambition brought you here." The figure's eyes moved to Thalion. He felt momentarily emptied of all emotions, including his fear, but he couldn't bear to return its gaze. The motion the creature next made couldn't be discerned by sight alone, but its effects were obvious at once. Its vicious scythe had been driven straight through Melville, who had a look of instant terror on his face. "Now it will keep you here. You have let Despair master you. You would have brought Hyeroldr to us. You lack our being." Melville slid off the scythe's blade, clutching his wound, paralyzed with fear. The figure looked at the heroes, staring for a few moments. It raised one twisted, blackened finger. "Do not interfere again." The figure turned - but then gestured with an open, gnarled hand to one of the fallen Crimson Crown. "The true enemy. Learn to fear them, Hyeroldr." The fold of magic appeared again, opening for the towering figure, the slithering of metal under its robes hissing as it stepped into the tear and vanished. Soonavask gave the heroes and Melville one last look, then followed. The portal dissipated. Melville looked utterly defeated, bleeding profusely. Illdria pulled her eyes away from the portal as it disappeared, standing over him, both weapons drawn. "It's over. You've lost, admiral." "...knight-captain....Jules....Nemo...and now...this..." Melville pushed himself to his feet despite his injury, seething with rage. The captain prepared to attack, but immediately, the undead jumped back into action, throwing themselves between Melville and the party. He picked up his sceptre and turned to the grate to the lower decks, weaving another spell. "....None of them have what it takes - NONE of you will ever understand the need for order in this world. What does a thousand dead men matter if you have your freedom? You are deluded, captain, as are you, heroes, deluded into seeing this misery as a given. If I am doomed to die for the law I cannot bring, then YOU will die with me!" A muffled voice cried out from below decks, the wood rumbling. This time, it was not the rain or the fire - the splinters of the other decks exploded into the air as the writhing body of an enormous, spectral sea fiend pushed itself through the hull of the Apocalypse, roaring with an ear-splitting shriek as it thrashed about, Melville's spell seizing command of the arisen beast. "KJORFALNEIRE! Bow to my will once more!" The sea fiend whipped its head across the deck, scattering many of the undead, fallen or otherwise. It opened its razor-lined maw, but before it could strike, a shadow passed over the deck of the Apocalypse. Melville was thrown backward as a pair of claws tore into the railing of his ship, a fierce, guttural roar ensuing as a familiar dragon landed on the deck of the ship. "Buongiorno! You've all been having fun, I see!" "AT LAST. AN ENEMY OF MY STATURE." "RRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHRRRRR!!!!"' Kjorfalneire twisted its body about, but Giuliana was already sinking her lance into its back in a gap between its scales. Volmuniix sank his claws into its side, tearing its fin to shreds as he wrapped his neck around Kjorfalneire's. The sea fiend shook back and forth, nearly throwing the dragoon from her seat but merely causing the dragon's bladed scales along his back to drive deeper into Kjorfalneire's rotting flesh. It twisted its head out from under Volmuniix, burying its teeth into the dragon. He thrashed and roared in pain, claws ripping its head just behind the eyes. The undead serpent released the dragon, who immediately pushed off of the monster, twisting in midair and unfolding its wing to glide around the back of the Apocalypse, coming apart at the seams. He felt rejuvenated, especially now that victory was within their grasp. I believe you forgot to add Sicarii Squad C to the Bow front, and Squad B should have been petrified and shattered? Do Jump Hits from Volmuniix take two actions as usual? I assume they don't count as targeting an enemy for the purpose of free hits? Can a hero on Volmuniix use an item on a hero still on the Apocalype? I'll fix it, yes, I'll fix that too, you killed one of them in doing that, no they don't, yes they do, yes you can, and yes it does. They're just regular attacks, except your attack is predetermined and likely to deal a lot of damage.

Confidence followed by a deep fear of the dark the figure, followed by a panic from the ship erupting with the Kjorfelnaire, followed by relief at the arrival of Giuliana and Volmuniix washed over him as quickly as the next emotion followed. At the end of it all, he found himself staring down the Kjorfelnaire. He raised the tongue that was cut from it when it was defeated the first time, showing it to the spectral sea creature. It would soon be time for it to fall again. "Illdria, he is all yours! Guts, Zaises, you are up. Let us finish this delusional Bonaparte sailor." Volmuniix swoops down and picks up Guts and Zaises, in so doing so giving Giuliana a shot at Melville (back row). The elder dragon makes another pass, allowing its two new passengers to target the Rear Admiral. Illdria charges Melville, her sword and whip dancing between him and Sicarii Squad C. Hybros attacks Sicarii Squad C with Justice. If successful in blinding them, he wakes up Vekken with an attack from the front row. As always, the imp is ready to heal as needed. He won't be able to do the Jump Hit thing if that's what you mean, but he doesn't have to mount Volmuniix. It shouldn't affect the numbers too much because you guys have a lot of multipliers. I'm going to sleep before running this next round, that one took like an hour straight to write out.
