Posted March 29, 20159 yr Hy the video of Sariel inspired me. He said that it was difficult to make suspension on it. At that moment i came with the idea to use indepent suspension. this is what came out of the idea. March 30, 20159 yr Author Ok, now tell me, how are you going to connect steering motor to it? i wil do it like sariel by LA. my version wil be with long LA because i don't have small LA's
March 30, 20159 yr i wil do it like sariel by LA. my version wil be with long LA because i don't have small LA's I am really curious about how it will look. Post some images and a movie with finished steering module.
March 30, 20159 yr It looks like it turns in one direction a lot more than the other, because the shock blocks it after a certain point.

March 31, 20159 yr Why not simply use regular linkage with rack and pinion? Like in Nicjasno's suspensions?
March 31, 20159 yr Nice job! Sariel did say it would be difficult, but he never said it was impossible. Great job working on this.
March 31, 20159 yr Author Ooh could the shock absorbers be mounted differently? No i'll leave the shock bhere it is because when the schock bloks it it is just perfect

Why not simply use regular linkage with rack and pinion? Like in Nicjasno's suspensions? That doesn't have as good steering geometry as this, so turning circles have larger radii.EDIT: I'll make an LXF of this later. Edited March 31, 20159 yr by TheLegoExpert
April 1, 20159 yr Author You mean, the steering lock is perfect? yeah the suspensionarm just doesn't touch the wheel. like this you reach full possible turning without tuching the wheel
