Recently posted to his YT channel....he did a great job as usual. Have this set myself and was impressed by the size of it. The wheels and tyres are very unique.

For a parts pack and at €30 it was/is a great deal!

Yes indeed, that's really nice set. In Finland we dont have this set anymore in stores so I ordered MISB one from BL at price 40 euros including shipping. One of the best Lego Technic sets but it needed this mod

to make it more realistic. I made that mod and now it's just awesome :classic:

Thanks. Glad to hear that reviews of older sets are useful to somebody because I've been trying to buy and review 42008 for a while.

I must thank Sariel too for his reviews  I bought sets 10242, 42039, 42037 and 42032 after watching his video reviews. So thank you very much!

I hope you are happy with these :)

Yes, i'm very happy with those sets :classic:

But to the subject... That mod which I linked needed in my opinion a little extra mod for the bikes' kickstand:

Without my little mod kickstand will rub the chains

And my solution for that problem is

But as you see, chains look now more natural just like in real motocross bikes.

Great review, I'd certainly enjoy more of this :)

I have fond memories of the 1991 bike and didn't think twice when found a 32007 in a store, best LEGO Technic dirt bike ever!

I am grateful to Sariel as well, I bought 42009 that brought me out of the dark ages after seeing his review as also 42030 after which my wallet ran out of cash  , his video reviews are very informative and excellent, and that also made me to buy his book, 'The unofficial Lego Technic builder's guide', it is very well written and has inspired an ignoramus like me to start working on my own MOC

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the 42008, since I just reviewed it (main and B-model) - I really liked the set, but seems like no one else does :) Well, oddly, the voting says it's an above average model, but the comments all seem to dislike it.
