April 1, 20159 yr Excellent, this is a whole new level of "How did he do that?" The autonomous maze run feature is unusual, you don't usually see that many semi autonomous Lego things, Mindstorms or otherwise. Although, I have made a similar, though larger model, based on a hedgehog, which I gave to my sister. Instead of the maze mode, mine rolls into a ball. Which he does often. My sister loves him, and was kind of amazed that I was able to get the cute hedgehog face just right. *Cough* I'm kidding, but my sister really does have a pet hedgehog, just like Sariel has a pet hamster.

It also has an almost real artificial intelligence, using classified Lego Mindstorms technology.

April 2, 20159 yr Pretty impressive MOC indeed! Not so sure about the suspension setup, but the drive and transmission seem solid! But it looks like the battery placement might interfere with the drive motor. Overall, I give it a
