I can not use megablocks pieces in my lego models it just doesn't seen right. I hate the way they are so alike to Lego and when I was younger I didn't know what I was doing and baught quite a lot of it so now as I am searching through my Lego boxes, looking for 1 peice to finish my moc, and come across it only to find it is a mega blocks piece instead I throw it half way across the room in frustration! >:-(

forgive me for saying this but there was one line which I liked when I was younger and it was like this men in black line. It had some good looking sets including a burger bar and petrol station and so I bought them seeing that Lego had not brough out a sets like them in ages.

I don't like MegaBlocks either. When I used them years ago, I got really frustrated trying to keep models together. That was back in about 1998. Never used a MegaBlock since.

I hate to say this but I can think of one time megablocks actually did better than Lego. :'-(

It was a viking set they made in the 1990's. It had a regular hull and sail but there were a few neat qualitys.

First there was a cloth covering over the middle that was pretty nice. But coolest of all there was dragon body on it with legs. The legs were connected to a system where they and all the oars moved at once.

But before you label me as a traitor, I dropped the ship and it broke into a million pieces. >:-)

Can you find a picture? Looks like an interesting set. 8-|

I had that set. It was neat when i was a kid but lego had mechanical stuff like that in the good-ol Timecruiser/twister sets.

Ah, but by your logic, all vehicles are a bad idea. |-/

What? There was really no reason to revive this thread, just so you could criticize him. :-/ Unless you meant something else?

Like some other people said MegaBlocks are cheap and imitation of Lego. Although what probably be good with MegaBlocks is all the themes they have and lots of custom accessories.

MegaBlocks :-/ =Bad 1/10 (1 point for the themes e.g. WW2, etc.)
