Kai NRG Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) The Ulandians settle down on a bit of deserted desert down in I10. This was a fairly enjoyable build, I don't think I've ever done a sandscape this large before... sure used up a lot of pieces! It's a very mixed Ulandian crew, more allies than soldiers actually. Several have started shoveling out the horns and bones littering the ground. Ageven is chasing away a few scorpions and the others are doing general setting up camp jobs! Another overview: And a figless shot so you can get a good view of the desolate sand! C&C welcome! Thanks for looking! I pick D3 as the "next" warzone if I win. Edited April 4, 2015 by Kai NRG Quote
Elostirion Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Really well done, I like it a lot. Great job on the different "types" of sand. Quote
Brick Man Studios Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Pretty nice creation ! Love the bucket with water Quote
Jacob Nion Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) Fantastic landscape! Your sand is really looking interesting. And again: damn I wish I'd own a camel! Edited April 4, 2015 by Jacob Nion Quote
Adair Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 Great sand! The use of dk. tan was quite well done! Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Thanks for all the comments! Really well done, I like it a lot. Great job on the different "types" of sand. It's amazing what a lack of pieces will inspire you to do... Thanks! Quote
Garmadon Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Nice build Kai, I like all the activity going on, especially Ageven chasing the scorpion! Great job on the landscape as well, the bones really give that last pic a desolate feel! Quote
LittleJohn Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Excellent entry Kai! The tent and bucket of water are great, and all the action is superb My only suggestion would be to not have so many bones showing, as they would probably get covered up by the sand Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 7, 2015 Posted April 7, 2015 One of your best yet, I really like this Lovely desert landscape, lots of great camp details, and a very cool border Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 Thanks guys! Excellent entry Kai! The tent and bucket of water are great, and all the action is superb My only suggestion would be to not have so many bones showing, as they would probably get covered up by the sand That's true enough, maybe this is a well traveled but deadly route... so few people survive that no one else realizes how bad it is... wait that bodes ill for my Ulandians... Thanks! Quote
Bregir Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Cool sandscape - and about the bones showing - since the sandscape is pretty flat, it could looks as if it had just been swept clear by a sandstorm, which would also explain why so many bones have been uncovered! Quote

A perfect explanation! Thanks! Quote
