Sandy Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 OoC: Ahem, Ellaria has the Emergency Essence in her possession, so you should probably edit the results.
Waterbrick Down Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 QM Note: Took me a little bit to find an example of one in use. Fixed.
CMP Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 "That'll do it," remarked Atramor, giving the Treant an approving nod as it withered away and its image slid back into view on its card as he shuffled it back into his deck. "Any chance Alfred knows what a...golem kidney stone is good for?"
Sandy Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 "Well, now that my back-up items are gone, let's just hope we can all stay conscious in the future." Ellaria went to the Fungoid. "It's alright, the golems are gone now. I am Doctor Ellaria Arbour, and this is my entourage. We come from the surface... well, except for the dwarf. Can you tell us more about this incident?"
Jebediahs Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 "That'll do it," remarked Atramor, giving the Treant an approving nod as it withered away and its image slid back into view on its card as he shuffled it back into his deck. "Any chance Alfred knows what a...golem kidney stone is good for?" - "..." - An incredulous look crossed the mage's face. "Respond! You must know something with all the time you spent in that Tower." " By your command ...Many of the organs used to build golems have a variety of uses. The correlation between a golem's organs and the animated creature is quite simple: In general, the greater the complexity of the golem means that more organs are used in its creation. The relationship extends a step further in that more "important" organs in fewer number can also result in a higher functioning or specialized golem such as myself. The Master used a golem heart to bring life to me. Nur leaned forward slightly and cocked his head to the side, letting the golem know he had yet to answer the question. "The golem kidney has been known to be used as the primary component in the creation of some grating stones. The craftsmen of Brumpknob should know more." En Sabah Nur narrowed his eyes and continued to stare at the Seneschal as he drank 3 Potions.

Sandy Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 "Thank you. You've no idea how close that was. Good to meet you all. I was on my way to back to Mycenia from Brumpknob when I was overtaken by these wandering freaks." The fungoid glances at Alfred, "No offense." Ellaria felt the myconoid was a perfect person to interrogate, since they had already won him on their side. "Mycenia is your village, isn't it? Your people seem to get along with the dwarves fine, if I am not mistaken. We are on our way to meet the Head Chief in Brumpknob. Perhaps you know him?"
Waterbrick Down Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 "Yes indeed, it's a humble village, but it's home. The Dwarves of the three cities have always been our allies, ever since they settled here so long ago. They keep our people protected and the mushroom business booming. I've met the Head Chief only once, he's a very busy man you see, understandably, considering he's also the high priest of Orik. By the way, I overheard your Golem talking about kidney stones? He's right, Brumpknob has a whole shop devoted to such things, bit of an alchemist there."
Jebediahs Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 "Of course Alfred is right! His knowledge precedes the birth of all the known races!" Nur had no idea about the extent of his golem's knowledge but didn't wish to let his uncertainty show. "And pay no heed towards his feelings, Lad. He is an artificial lifeform devoid of emotion. If my mistress would allow, perhaps we could escort you the rest of the way to your village?"
Waterbrick Down Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 QM Note: And we're back. Peppermint M, don't forget to handout the loot. "Of course Alfred is right! "And pay no heed towards his feelings, Lad. He is an artificial lifeform devoid of emotion. If my mistress would allow, perhaps we could escort you the rest of the way to your village?" "Oh there is no need, I've already made it past the Scarlet Worms and with the golems out of the way I should make it back with no issues."
Sandy Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 "Hope you are safe from golems and other ghoulies for the rest of your trip", Ellaria said to the fungoid. "We should be continuing our journey to Brumbknob now, shouldn't we?"
Waterbrick Down Posted June 16, 2015 Author Posted June 16, 2015 Dumora glances at the Party. "Very well let's be moving on then." The group moves northward towards Brumpknob and after a few hours travel arrive at the outskirts of the city. A gigantic hexagonal structure stands in the middle of the city, a raging fire burning in the hollow center. "Brumpknob, the city of smiths. You'll find one on every corner. I've got a map here of the main attractions." What shall the Party do?
Sandy Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 "I guess I need to head to the Temple of Orrik first. You are free to explore the city at your own behest, but does anyone want to join me?"
Jebediahs Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 "Umm..." Nur rubs his tummy. "...I'm a bit hungry. Might venture over to the Bakery. I'm sure Dumora can accompany you in my stead."
CMP Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 "Which place is the alchemist's, Dumora? I want to head over and see if this golem kidney stone will get us any leads."
Waterbrick Down Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 "Which place is the alchemist's, Dumora? I want to head over and see if this golem kidney stone will get us any leads." With that Ellaria heads off accompanied by Dumora as Nur heads for the bakery. The square before the temple is crowded with merchants, travelers, and races of every kind. QM Note: Bakery will be up later tonight.
CMP Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Atramor heads over to Kog's and Company with the golem kidney stone in hand. Loot didn't get divided so I assume I can just take it to get it checked out.
Waterbrick Down Posted June 18, 2015 Author Posted June 18, 2015 QM Note: Sorry, couldn't get to Kog's and Company tonight, will post tomorrow. Nur makes his way to the Samwerk's Bakery, as he arrives the delightful aroma of baked goods reaches his nose. Inside the shop, the mage finds a dwarf and orc hard at work, a small bell at the door announcing his presence. Just beyond the hearth Nur can see a gigantic roaring fire. "Welcome to Samwerk's Bakery, my good sir."
Sandy Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 OoC: Hope Peppy gets back at some point. Maybe you should consider switching the party leader, at least... With that Ellaria heads off accompanied by Dumora as Nur heads for the bakery. The square before the temple is crowded with merchants, travelers, and races of every kind. Ellaria headed straight for the temple, greeting the dwarf by the door. "Excuse me, I am Doctor Ellaria Arbour from Eubric Freeport. I am here to meet the Head Chief in a business matter, if he would grant me an audience. I have a letter here from Chief Kulbin of Krumbknob..."

"Greetings, recommend anything in particular?" Alfred stands motionless just inside the bakery not far from the door.
