Sandy Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 "A thousand thanks", Ellaria thanks the waitress. She then turned to the others, sipping her tea. "So, it seems we have to travel to Frumpknob to get to the bottom of this mythril issue. But first, I have an appointment tomorrow with the High Chief. Maybe we can learn more from there. One of you should come with me, while the rest check on this Xor-fellow. Now, is there something more we need to discuss?" Ellaria looked at Tesni and Atramor. OoC: Is that Werther Brickton I see sitting on one of the tables?

I had that golem stone checked out and they said it was made of basalt. Maybe that'll help track down their source? Frumpknob might have information about basalt mines."
Sandy Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 "Alright, let's just wait for Dumora to get here, then we can call it a night." Ellaria eyed on the roasting pig. She didn't usually eat a lot of red meat, but now she felt famished and helped herself with a plateful of the pig. Seeing both tables occupied, she smiled to the dwarf and the cloaked man sitting on them. "Can I sit and dine with either of you fellows? It's been a long day, and I wouldn't want to get pig grease all over my white coat, you see."
Jebediahs Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The cyclops's eye narrowed as Nur approaches, Alfred in the background."Aye, is that what I think it is? That thing belong to you?" The Naga smiled at Nur. "Sssalutationsss, ssstranger. Here on busssinesss or pleasssure?" En Sabah Nur attempted to handle the inquiry with diplomacy. "My traveling companion is indeed a golem, Madam. He is quite harmless but if it will provide you comfort and ease your mind, I can have him wait outside. Though having Alfred the Living Statue out there might cause a loss in business. I am here escorting the Doctor while she handles her affairs and it seems I've been offered a bit of a respite. So far I have had chance to visit the pleasant bakery but the Cogs and Company seems worth a visit if they are developing a fascinating new drilling technology."

We just came from Krumpknob as well. Did you run into any trouble with the shipment, perhaps? Because there was an earthquake and a swarm of golems blocking our way when we went through the tunnels..." As she ate the pig, Ellaria wondered what was stalling Dumora. She had said she would meet them at the inn...
Jebediahs Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Not wanting to interrupt her conversation, Nur walked passed Ellaria and stopped at Atramor. "Atramor, did you or Ellaria visit Kog's & Company? The woman tending bar said they'd had their mythril drill stolen. I want to go see if they have any ideas on who was responsible for the theft."

Peppermint_M Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 "A beer is most welcome, my thanks. I was wondering if anyone here knew more about the wyrms. They are not a creature I have fought before but I heard chatter about them."

They are not a creature I have fought before but I heard chatter about them." "Generally gigantic docile beasts, they're a terror if agitated though. They're omnivores, but tend to stay away from civilization." After a little while longer, Dumora enters the tavern, a few extra sword hilts sticking from her pack. "Well it looks like you all made it here. Everything go alright with the rest of ya?"
Jebediahs Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 "Aye, I did. Did ya' say the drill was mythril? Wonder if that has anythin' to do with the lack of the stuff..." Nur paused a moment from embarrassment. "Ya know, I am uncertain if she said that the drill was made of mythril or if it was just used to drill deep for mythril or if she even mentioned the word 'mythril' at all. No matter what she said, the thieves must be involved with the mythril shortage in some way. I shall return quickly. To me, Alfred!" En Sabah Nur goes to Kogs & Company. Outside the shop he removes his Sedge Hat and puts on the Cobra Nemes..
Sandy Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Noticing Dumora's arrival, Ellaria thanked the dwarven merchant for the company. As she passed the hooded figure, she noticed him motioning to her. "Yes? Is there something you want?" The sinister bandaged man did not look like a fellow she wanted to deal with.

"My apologies, it seems in my haste to visit your shop, Ms. Kog, I have forgotten to introduce myself even to my lovely escort who showed me the way. Ladies, I am En Sabah Nur, a mere traveler and explorer who took on a job serving as a protector for Doctor Arbour because it provided me with an opportunity to visit this part of Olegaia for the first time." The mage gave a deep bow as he attempted to lay the diplomacy on thick. "The Lady is correct in that machines hold much interest to me ever since I witnessed the unveiling of a transmogrifaction machine some time ago. During my short time here I heard brief mention of the special drilling machine you developed and that it had been stolen. If you care to share your thoughts, do you have any idea who might have taken the device? As an accomplished surface mage perhaps I can offer my assistance in exchange for...you showing me how denizens from this part of the realm use machinery. Like that one with the legs to my right that seems to have a seat for a pilot?"

THAT'S ALL THEY SURPRISINGLY TOOK." A voice echoes in Nur's head. "That and a vial of Alchemist's Acid." "WE'D APPRECIATE THE HELP IN TRACKING THE THING DOWN. IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN THE GRUB P-500 LOAD WORKER, I'LL LEAVE YOU TO RIP." The dwarf indicated another mechanic working upon the machine. The dwarf wiped an oil stain off his hands and smiled at the pair. "Hullo there, name's Rip. The Grub's a good work horse, newly designed to be operated by a single individual. Its drill can cut through a foot of stone in under a minute and it's load bearing arm can hoist up to a ton of material. She's powered on alchemical batteries and ether cores and has a charge that'll last a good 5 days of continuous work." Edited July 20, 2015 by Waterbrick Down

She then bid goodnight to her companions and retired to her room to rest. OoC: I will be away until Tuesday or Wednesday, but Ellaria will stick with Tesni if they move out before I return.
