MKJoshA Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Charlemagne was on a mission for the Desert King that had led into the Dune Sea. He had hired a guide to help him survive the harsh climate. They traveled early in the morning and late in the evening, setting up a canopy in the afternoon to shield them from the beating sun. The guide had warned Charlemagne that there were all many of nasty creatures in the Dune Sea, though he wasn't sure how they managed to survive. All of a sudden a ROUS (Rodent of Unusual Size) had come galloping over a sand dune at them. It had obviously smelled them and thought it had found a quick dinner. The ROUS quickly found out that it had met it's end instead of it's meal. OoC: This is a very unconventional base, I know. I have a limited number of tan base-plates and I didn't want to stoop to using dark tan for this desert. So this is what we got Quote
Jacob Nion Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Great sand technique. Really like the smoothness of the dunes. And it seems someone is joineing me on the rodent train Quote
LittleJohn Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Nice work, I like the ROUS! Cool canopy and sand as well Quote

robuko Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Rodents of unusual size? I don't think they exist...... The bivouac really stands out here, great job Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Some nice sand here, and the creature looks good as well! Quote
Adair Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 ROUSs... definitely extinct now. Great job with the dunes! Though I feel as if the base could have been a little more consolidated. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 That little shelter looks great, excellent use of capes Scary ROUS as well Quote
