I could have just spent two minutes piling bricks on a plate for at least one challenge in each book and still gotten the tags. Absolutely no proof of accomplishment there.

Edit: I'm not complaining about DK winning and at this point I kind of hope they win because it will result in my character being killed off. I'm just saying that with the large disparity in the voting it definitely shows DK has an edge that wouldn't change even if everyone from all the teams built. I'm pretty sure that if one team had only one build and it was the best build of all, that team would get the majority of the votes even if every other member of the other teams built.

I thought that one factor was how many builds were turned out... otherwise I would have voted for High Council because of Little John';s amazing build...

DK won this, hands down. If the Best Sand category were still there, I'd vote for BLufiji. While not the best build, it was my favorite in the depiction of sand.

Best sand is a hard one, I thought Blufiji, Capt Braunsfeld and Emma had the outstanding sand builds, and all 3 were excellent in different ways. Probably I would vote for Emma.

That's what I was hoping for... "Traverser of the Great Sands" that would have been a title...

I am a bit worried about the imbalance in builds too.

It seems the High Council is in need for support although they have the highest number of registered supporters (and great builders among them).

On the other hand, since I have taken a side, it's obvious: DK rules! :grin:

I could understand if someone was afraid of players with large collection. But just saying 'oh gosh their entries are so super duper that's unfair I give up' only shows the total absence of sportsmanship.

And what you wrote about wasting time- if it is your serious opinion that trying to create a better moc than others is wasting time, please give your bricks to some kids on the street who surely will have more fun with it.

I could also say 'oh man why is that builder participating at this contest? Hasn't he already won enough I give up'. If everyone would think so, it would be a very, very poor community here.

After having a bit more time to actually read your comment, I'd say you owe me an apology for your snide comments. Do you seriously think that if I was capable of competing, I wouldn't? The most I would be able to build at present and for an unforeseeable future is 5 minute builds something along the lines of robuko's micros. You don't see me posting any MOCs anywhere else and it isn't because I don't want to but simply because I cannot. And perhaps that is what bugs me the most. Not being able to help my team out. Seeing such a disparity in the scoreboard only stirred my irritation. The builders that are building are doing their best, yet they aren't even getting a quarter of the votes. As I said before, I say again, something is definitely off.

@blufiji - That is some pretty awesome sand you built there....

The best sand category has always been on! It says at the bottom to vote in the thread who you think had the best sand. There just is not a button for it in the poll itself.

The most I can build at the moment is those, as I am away from my bricks. I wish I could bang them out in 5 minutes! I am trying to learn from using a very limited selection of parts ( you saw them all in the keeping the peace build :tongue: ), and micro is something I still have lots to learn. I am not expecting to win any challenge with them or pick up any votes but hopefully it helps the team out overall. Whoever voted for me, thankyou!!

I too can't vote (it says I haven't cast my vote in each question) - perhaps the great poll making machine thingy didn't appreciate having question removed, lol.

Vote ending early for which side won, so that new squares can make it on the map. I am pretty confident in that 22 vote lead being a decisive and overwhelming victory for DK. That being said I need to know which two the DK team wants out of H10, I9, I11, and J11

We will keep taking votes for best sand and best MOCs on each side until the original deadline of the 12th.

Add to that, I need to know specifically which zone is the reward for overwhelming victory since that zone does not get the same protection as the decisive victory.
