LegoMcBoss2004 Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) I could see it being like the Marvel Action Figures where in each pack you get parts for another pack and you have to buy them all to get all the pieces. Just another way for lego to suck our wallets dry. Edited July 6, 2016 by LegoMcBoss2004 Quote

I wouldn't be against that (I'm all for fitting in more figs, and it guarentees they'd have leg printing), but 1) that doesn't really seem Lego's style, and 2) for Dimensions specifically, each fig needs to have a game token. Not sure how you'd split that into multiple packs? Quote
Ashnflash Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 What would be the point of that? If that idea actually came true it'd probably be a Lord Vortech figure. But if you really wanted to play as him all you'd need to buy is the set that comes with his base for the toy tag... (Theoretically) Quote

But if you really wanted to play as him all you'd need to buy is the set that comes with his base for the toy tag... (Theoretically) While that is true there are plenty of people across the world that want the entire fig, and children (despite maybe not being familiar with the franchise) will ask for them all because they look cool. And gamers will try to collect all of the packs to get the full game experience. And collectors will try and collect all the figures (obviously). Lego knows the groups of fans that they have and don't try to please them all but will practically rob the ones they do. Edited July 8, 2016 by LegoMcBoss2004 Quote
Anonknee Muss Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 (edited) I am going to collect the minifigures as there are so many exclusive minifigures and I will wait for year 1 to go on sale with big discounts. When will this happen you ask? Wen year 2 packs are available to buy. Edited July 8, 2016 by J4ck Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted July 8, 2016 Posted July 8, 2016 If we get Hermione, I hope Ron is released in a pack too. You can't have Harry without both Ron and Hermione. Quote

I agree with need Ron, there were 14 IPs in year 1 and there were so many DC Comic packs so we will probably get Ron and maybe rumbled ore if we are lucky. Quote

I've actually only ever paid full price for the Dr Who set, and I have all the level packs, many of the team packs and over half the fun packs. Most of them I've gotten for 50% msrp. Quote

We don't have Walmart in the UK but asda is owned by Walmart so I will have to check there, thanks though Edited July 9, 2016 by J4ck Quote
julesvincent Posted July 10, 2016 Posted July 10, 2016 I bought the sets I wanted lately on amazon. They were 20% off and had a 3for2 (cheapest one free) option. So the fun packs were like 8€ each. Quote

legobagel Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) I'm starting to think of uses of the physical bricks of LEGO Dimensions (as that is the name of this topic), and I started making a list of useful pieces. Wave 6 Minifig Parts - B.A. Baracus's Hair - Ethan Hunt's Arms - Finn's Torso + Arms - Finn's Backpack - Abby's Hair - Lumpy Space Princess's Phone Vehicle / Model Parts - Lumpy Car Wheels - Hogwarts Express Wheels - Ecto-1 2x2 Ghostbuster Tile - BMO's 2x4 Control Tile - B.A.'s Van Gray Shield - Ancient War Elephant's Trunk Piece - Jake Car 2x2 Jake's Face Slanted Tile - BMO's Blue Sausage Arms That's all for now. Will be editing this post. Edited July 11, 2016 by legobagel Quote

legobagel Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 And the phone LSP is holding, also voldemorts cape if it is the new softer style cape 1: Capes aren't really interesting pieces, they are fairly common. 2: It's not the felt capes, they don't use those in Dimensions. Quote

I find capes to be interesting but only if they are the soft ones, I didn't know they didn't use the new ones in Dimensions Quote
