Hi All,

Not sure if this even counts as a MOC, but I thought it would be cool to recreate some of the characters of the recent 'TIE Fighter' anime film that recently went viral on YouTube and the wider Internet.

I've got a few more head and hair elements in the post, so may be able to get theses minifigs looking a bit more accurate, and perhaps do a minifig for Commander Gaunt using the Star Wars Rebel Imperial Officer body as a starting point.

If you haven't seen the film, check it out on YouTube, one of the best fan created Star Wars works I have ever seen.

Saw this short film and it is beyond brilliant. Loved seeing the Empire kick Rebel butt for a change.

Totally agree. It's great to see the Empire's forces portrayed as more than cannon fodder for the Rebels!

Can anyone explain to me why I keep seeing new users with like 2 posts repeating other people's posts in threads? User Tris637 (who appears to be a real human) posted the quote, above. Then, user rsportseye (a new user with 2 posts, a name that looks like it was generated by a name generator, and no profile pic) posts the exact same thing, word for word. His only other post is like that as well. It's just copied from something someone else said. Is it some kind of bot or insidious marketing attempt to infiltrate the forums or something?

Seems like something the mods should be aware of, so I submitted a report as well.

As for the figures, love them, love the video as well. Since I have a MOC Interceptor and MOC Bomber, I may just steal your idea and make these guys my TIE pilots. The young guy pilots the Interceptor and the woman pilots the Bomber, right?

Edit: Looks like the mods removed that post I was talking about. I'm still a little curious about why those posts occur and whether they're bots or something.

Ah, right you are, just checked. I guess it makes sense that a pilot would have to work his way up the ranks to get assigned to an Interceptor.

Just like in the PC-game... Oh, that were the days... Flying missions, working your way up in the empire, busting rebel-scum. I still got the game in my collection, but I don't have a windows PC anymore.
