I have a theory on Walter:

Remember how I came up with all of this great evidence for his lynch on day one? Apparently, he got scared by it and decided that it was safer to stop talking. He might be the SK? It could also be that he is away from his computer.

That it isn´t because he has been online today.

If someone decides to stop talking he isn´t useful anymore but I don´t think that is the case with Walter, he isn´t a noobie.

I know he was dreading having to rhyme his way through today so that probably impacts his decision to post or not; maybe ....

Lady K said she was suspicious of him in PM to me before she died. Her reasoning was that he had joined the bandwagon on day one, and then voted for Lind on day two, choosing him rather than Tammo. (Who of course turned up Scum)

Is it truly scummy? It's lazy, it's unhelpful, but scummy? Think about the times you've played as scum, would you really go a whole day without posting? No, you'd do everything you could do to avoid bringing attention on yourself. I've still got my doubts...

What bugs me out is, I see so many people come and go but dont giveant input or comment on anything. This day has been alot of this, come on people it is day 3 and we have only rooted out one scum and that only because of the investigator and the ones that actually were bold enough to take tammo out.

I guess for the time being I will have to unvote: Iron Patriot (fhommes) and vote: The Flash (Walter Kovacs). I still really don't trust fhommes, but its more that I know for a fact that I'm town than anything that Walter has done... which is ironically equally hard to defend against as the accusations against me earlier today.

I agree with you. I'd in all honesty much prefer fhommes or Lind, but it's more a question of who is here with the rapidly approaching deadline. fhommes is closer to the number required, but people didn't seem interested in that. How many hours are left in the day?

Exactly my point from above. I'm really trying to get everyone's attention on this. Look at your scum suspect list, now look at who's all jumped on the Walter wagon, you'll likely see some overlap. Walter may be sum, but if he is, he's the worst scum I've ever seen! The Walter lynch is lazy because it's convenient. If we're wrong we could all say "oh well, he wasn't helping anyway." But we're past the point of weeding out lazy town, we now need to catch scum. Do you think Walter is scum or are you just voting for him because he hasn't posted? I have nothing to gain from defending Walter, I'm actually putting my neck on the line. But I can't sit back and watch us get lazy on this, it's day 3 folks...

For me - and this is quite frankly unique to me - right now it's between someone I think is likely not scum (Walter) and someone I know is not scum (me).

Hm. I think I'm keeping my vote right where it is. i still think dave's scum. I don't like this lynch wagon on zepher, because it's 100% built on DF's case and a bunch of people saying "yep I agree" - I don't think a single one of you posted another new thought against zeph. If I wasn't townreading several of you, I'd think we've got a massive scum pile forming to get rid of an important townie costume.

You know what? I kind of agree. Except most of the people I think are scum are not voting for Zepher.

Zepher just sent me a PM. He told me what the costume role is, and I agree that we should try to keep it. The whole PM had a really strong townie feel to it. He definitely wasn't afraid to be investigated, he seemed less concerned about dying than he was about keeping the item. I don't mind lynching him tomorrow if we have a better candidate for today, but who would that be? I would certainly rather lose Zepher's costume than Dave's. MT is the only other person who I would feel good about lynching today.

I feel it is likely that Zepher got thrown under the bus, cause we really have no evidence against him other than Tammo's actions.

There is no evidence against Walter except from the fact that he is not online. He's lazy and so is the lynch wagon on him.

The problem with the Zepher lynch is that he is adequately towny - I can't really see the scumminess in his posts. He's only scummy because of what Tammo and others posted, and I'm not sure that's enough to risk a costume on.

So who do we lynch today, if not Zepher, Walter, or Lind? I honestly don't know.

It's cost us two townies so far, and with the number of townies falling, at some point the scum will just openly out themselves and take all the good stuff (it's happened before!). So I'm not confident in our ability to hold on to the vig / thief costumes.

He doesn't seem that concerned about losing the vig, which is our only way to kill during the night. Also, he was a very strong advocate for Shadows' lynch yesterday, possibly protecting a scum buddy? When voting opened today, he assumed that I would start railing against Dave and start a bandwagon, thus his immediate vote for Dave. I wouldn't be surprised if he changes to Walter in a few minutes. He says that Dave and I could both be scum, yet he persists on attacking mainly Dave instead of me, I'm assuming because Dave is an easier target. Earlier today, he brought up a fairly complicated plan to why I might be scum, but he never pursued it until he needed to defend himself. Then he says that "he started the scumhunt" against me. All I saw was him making a plausible theory as to how I could be scum, then letting it drop faster than a stalled brick.

I don't think MT is the best scum candidate for today, but Dave has the vig, so we need to save him for tomorrow.

I will try to quickly put together a more detailed case against him, but the short version is that he's been extremely non committal in a lot of his comments and has spent more time talking about mechanics and such than looking at people's behavior. Today we find he has taken the bomb with the second item selected and we know that the scum team knew about the item's abilities.

I don't have a strong opinion on Walter at this point and wouldn't be surprised one way or the other.

So when Tammo was scum the scum team knows what it does.

Iron patriots helmet is the bomb.

Aqua mans hair does nothing, makes you feel a bit like Justin Bieber, Dave should had taken this one.

Jluck and Mostly took the bomb costume pretty quickly, don't know if they are scum but it is a good nightprotection for scum when the info was out.

I'll consider but I have my doubts...Tammo seemed really townie too. At some point were gonna lose these roles, and do you think the scum are going to let us get/use roles that they are well aware of? Is zepher's role more important than catching a scum?

It's come up again against me, so apparently I need to state this again. We can't vote based on costume. The scum know many more of them and any of us do, and they'll take them. People are so worried about holding onto the vig, but if you think a scum has it, we HAVE to lynch them! Keeping it in the hopes that the town ca reclaim it on future days isn't worth letting a scum live and kill a townie with it.
