For those of you that are interested in the posters, there was also this URL that was stated on the back of the poster I got. No idea if it goes anywhere yet though.

Is there a good method to unfolding posters? lol... probably not I imagine. I want to display these but it looks bad if they're folded.

Unfortunately not... you can get the poster dead flat through a variety of methods, but you won't be able to remove the creases where it's pretty likely it'll have left a thin white line wherever it was folded :sceptic:

Hi

be careful! I tried this last year, placed two orders within the same day (weekend). I got both figs last year in the basked, but they cancelled the second one later...

Chamces are bigger if you place your second order a few days after the initial purchase. Oooooor you have a second account like me :)

Dino

I feel sorry for your experience previous year ;)

And what if I would ship it to a different adress with the same account? Might that work, cause technically it's a different household?

Hi

it ever said "one per household" not one per order above 50/55/75£€$.

Well, now i have two household and two accounts :)

Unfortunately i just have one wallet :(

It does say in the promo terms & conditions that it's limited to one per household. I don't remember seeing that stipulation with previous years' minifigure promos.

It might be a bummer for those of us who want extra Yularens as fodder for trades, converting to Thrawn or whatever, but it'd surely be an even bigger bummer for those fans who weren't able to get one at all because LEGO ran out of them sending multiples to well-heeled fans who make multiple purchases early. Consider how most of their Star Wars promo giveaways run out before the ends of the promo periods. They're probably trying to avoid that.

It does suck for households with more than one fan, though.

I'm glad the poster was EPIV... It seems apt to have that as the first poster although a trip to the Lego store once a month at least for the next 5 months is also in order.

I must admit seeing the UCS TIE in the flesh did help it in that it looks much better that way rather than just pictures but it still wasn't enough to tempt me to buying it. At least not yet.

For anyone that likes the helmet variant of the pilot included in the UCS it's available on Bricks and Pieces for around £1.18. The torso is the same as the one in the Microfighter TIE Interceptor just without the printed arms.

It was there last year too, and the year before. I think it has been on every single promotion since I came out of my dark ages 2+ years ago.

I think chances are very good to get multiples, BUT as Darth Dino said it might be wise to space your orders. My own success rate with getting multiples is 100%, even when placing orders on the same day. I am sure the success rate will plummet once there is a promotion I'm really keen on getting multiples of though...

Posters from the store(s) pretty much always come folded.

That said, I understand they gave these out in advance (not just the current Episode IV one, but all six episodes' posters) at the LEGO booth at this year's Star Wars Celebration convention in Anaheim a couple weeks ago, and I think those copies were rolled.

The posters given out at star wars celebrations this year are the same but are smaller then the ones lego is giving out. I have the complete set from celebrations that I am going to frame and hang up. I was going to maybe do the lego store ones instead but they are bigger so more expensive to frame plus they are folded so they have creases so I will stick with the celebrations posters.

I just got back from my local LEGO Store, where I bought a fair amount of Star Wars stuff, and they gave me an Admiral Yularen. I did tell them that I placed an order yesterday that was already getting me one, and that I totally would understand if they wanted to not give me this one in order to make sure there were enough to go around, but the nice employee put it in with my purchase anyway. Huzzah!

Re the posters, according to LEGOs website they will be giving away a new poster each month starting now through to October for qualifying purchases. At least for Canada/US

Stupid question I know, but what is the qualifying purchase to get the poster each month? Is it with any purchase or do you have to buy Star Wars, or order over a certain amount?

I have no idea if we're getting the poster promo in the UK, but I assume so given the poster I got was advertising the additional posters.

I'm pretty sure the episode IV poster came with any Star Wars purchase, for May the 4th (Canada).

If I'm right, I suppose it should be the same for the posters to come.

It is Star Wars purchases only, but no minimum amount. A Microfighter or even a keychain will do.

I half suspect there will be a not-yet-announced seventh poster in November, for Star Wars - Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

Australia has no discounts or anything at the moment. This is terribly disappointing, most of these sets aren't worth they're full RRP here.

Hard to say what's more insulting 10% or the nothing that LEGO seems to think that Australasia deserves!

^^ I think it's one per household per qualifying transaction as I just tried online today (purchased a couple things yesterday) and it populated another poster and Admiral minifig

If you buy star wars sets from the Lego store store and they give you the promo, if you return the stuff you bought, do they ask you for the promo back?

I would think so, but even if not I would consider returning it the right thing to do.

If they say "one per household", then maybe they let you get away with two, just in case you have a father and son who are both fans, or two children, etc... Has anyone tried it twice?

I went to my local brick & mortar LEGO Store today after making an online order from Shop @ Home yesterday. They gave me the Admiral Yularen even though I told them I was already getting one with an order I made yesterday. Perhaps it's at the discretion of individual employees or managers, or they don't worry about it if you get them from different sources (i.e., physical store vs. online, or different physical stores).

Yeah pretty disappointed that there were no discounted prices at all for S@H AU, I checked at midnight on Saturday, thought maybe they'll update it by the morning, but no. 10% isn't good but it would be better than nothing. Have to buy $100 of SW for the minifig, then an additional $100 of whatever to avoid the exorbitant postage. Does TLG want our money or do they just prefer that we give most of it to local retailers who very regularly sell 20% cheaper with no postage cost or 3 week delay? I for one won't be spending $200 per month to get all of the posters!

But because there are sets that are not available locally, S@H prices are an evil I can't seem to avoid. :sceptic: Ended up getting a few exclusive sets at full price. And I forgot to redeem VIP points, haha.

For anyone wondering (because I didn't see anyone else say) the win a UCS TIE competition IS actually available to most (not Korea), and it was the same for last year's comp (I wasn't sure before). The thing is that there are 2 separate identical competitions, one for USA & Canada, the other for Europe, Australia & NZ.

I've got a bunch of Clone Lieutenants and a couple Hoth Han Solos. If orders are placed at different times, to the extent that they will ship different days, they drop the fig in both. I didn't do it on purpose, it just worked out that way.

That means they're giving out a total of 20 UCS TIEs. That's pretty generous, actually.

I may be wrong, not being in your part of the world, but I don't think you'd need to spend that much to get all the posters. A single Star Wars purchase each month should do it, even if it's just a keychain or something.

I think TLG probably assume that Aussies are so used to paying inflated prices anyway that they'll buy even without a discount being offered. You can't even order non-SW stuff this year and still get the bonus SW stuff as was possible in previous years.

Sadly there's nothing from SW I want this year that I don't already have, so will have to get my polybag in the aftermarket.
