bonox Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Clever! Good luck with finishing it - you're going great so far :) Quote
Lucio Switch Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 Bonox, I think there is enough room because if you look at the pictures of Lucio (the one with the open doors), you can see the selector switch, so he did the same I figured that I have to use two receivers for the four XL motors to be on the safe side. On the front we do have a bit more space, but there has a drive shaft to pass in between, so also the leads have to be laid out carefully Nope, I didn't! You should rotate the IR in the back. If you look carefully, you can see, just a bit above on the right the battery box , the shape of one IR receiver, and the power lead sockets are directed outwards. Anyway, seems that you are at a good point!! Quote
ajs0658 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Ok, overruled by the "master" (and to Bonox: indeed there is NOT enough space!) Now I'm confused: should i stay with the source an turn them outward, or should i stay with my solution and move the receivers one beam outward... I think i 'll let it depend on the space needed. Lucio, I made an "all black" ladder with '32' axles but I tends to torck. Are you familiar with his problem (or other readers) and is there a way to solve this? Quote
Richard Dower Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 impressive MOC....yet wildly unrealisitic for anyone other then the most hardcore. the part count, the massive cost, the time, the specalised parts used.....this is a singular creation made out of love and dedication. it cannot and would not be made for anyone else outside of less then a dozen guys with money to burn.......
