vliet Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) In that post you can find the brackets for the m - motors, which I meant before. Edited April 24, 2015 by vliet Quote
nerdsforprez Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Likewise, and that is why many of the new parts are often rather pricey on BrickLink, as it seems they is always a high demand for them when they're first introduced. I had forgotten about that thread. Though, when I started this one, I was thinking solely about 'redundant' parts. I added the second part just to gather more opinions. So, since when you joined the duplicate thread police? Great use of an emoticon!! Quote

Technyk32231 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Look at some of Efferman's chassis. They use some of these. Quote
Sheepo Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 vs. 2× Same space, but different grip on the axle (the second one coupled are more stronger, very useful in some cases). 2x #2 have more grip to the axle than the #1, but the size is not the same. The lengh is the same but not the diameter in the center, this is specially usefull when need to place it near to a z8 or z24 gears. What amazes me is how useful I find many of the new parts when they are released! Some of them I can't imagine how I ever managed to live without Totally agree  vs. I use both with the same frecuency, thw first one is 1 stud smaller, and with the second one you can use 12:12 or 12:20, and have more holes to hold it better. grum64 Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Are we talking LEGO parts or body parts? Because if it's body parts I'm going to need more space to write Quote
Saberwing40k Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Are we talking LEGO parts or body parts? Because if it's body parts I'm going to need more space to write We're talking about Lego parts, I think. I personally think that there really is not a such thing as a redundant Lego part. In the hands of a good builder, any Lego part has a good use. At least for Technic and some City stuff. The specialized parts in the Juniors sets are boring and redundant, and impossible to use for anything else. Quote

Yes, you're absolutely right. in fact I used that solution very often in my Mocs. I should have written Same lenght and not Same space ;) Quote
andythenorth Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Eh, I've found a good challenge part Sports Minifig Stand Soccer with Spring and Green Pin (Complete Assembly) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30488c01 There are 500+ of them on Bricklink in black, starting at £0.01. Can't see it in the picture, but there's a medium-strength spring at the hinge, and a good range of movement. This would make an interesting, fairly compact suspension part for something like an on-highway truck. Quote
