AlmightyArjen Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Hi all, I was wondering what would happen if a Lego train would crash into a Lego skyscraper. Obviously the skyscraper was built in a way that it had to come down (otherwise it would be too boring ofcourse). Well, here is the result :) Quote
dr_spock Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Cool. How did you get the rear engine to uncouple in the nick of time? Quote
AlmightyArjen Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Cool. How did you get the rear engine to uncouple in the nick of time? He was sitting in that part of the train Edited April 24, 2015 by AlmightyArjen Quote
Ashi Valkoinen Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Cool. How did you get the rear engine to uncouple in the nick of time? It seems to run derailed all along to the end station, and then then the point uncoupled the waggon by its derailed bogie. Quote
davidmull Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Why are people obsessed with crashing there trains? Quote
Murdoch17 Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 Why are people obsessed with crashing there trains? Because it's fun, and doesn't everyone at some point in their life want to wreck a (toy!) train like in the movies / TV? I did, and still do on occasion. Quote
Ashi Valkoinen Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 (edited) Why are people obsessed with crashing there trains? On the other hand, search for 9Vtrain videos on YouTube (crashes on long radius curves with Christmas train), they are over millions and millions of views, using the YouTube Partner program and Google Adsense you can get quite good amount of money* after clicks on ads. *Not as much as enough for basic needs, but reasonable addition to your monthly salary. I think the kid in me prefers the magic explanation. Why are people obsessed with crashing there trains? Because it is fun to see things get smashed or run over. The not so fun part is rebuilding. James Wellington Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 I'm usually found in the Pirates and Star Wars sections, but this caught my eye. Poor civilians! I really like how you filmed as many of the angles as possible, before, during and after the crash. Great job! Let us hope this doesn't happen in real life Quote
detjensrobert Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 The building reminds me of "soft-story" apartment buildings. Quote
