Jacob Nion Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 (edited) The ambush: The war wagon: Nothing too special here, I just tried to put everything in that was required. Blood, mobile fortification and combat. And that's bloody difficult on 16x32! And irregular base of course. Edited April 25, 2015 by Jacob Nion Quote
Captain Dee Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 "Nothing too special", huh? Okay, the near edge of the rocks is really jagged but otherwise this is a very nice scene. The sloping terrain, rocks and vegetation give it a lot of detail and the wagon is terrific. You have a sufficient amount of action and that pool of blood is huge! (I think he's dead...) Quote
Balbo Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 The war wagon looks fantastic . Furthermore I really like the rockwork and the base Quote
Garmadon Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Excellent job on the base and war wagon (although it doesn't seem to have helped the soldiers a whole lot! ) JN, that is a lot of blood for just one soldier! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Great ambush - I like the wagon. Everything neatly done with the small space given! Quote
LittleJohn Posted April 25, 2015 Posted April 25, 2015 Great entry! The rocks are nice and I like the way you tilted the sides of the war wagon Quote
Blufiji Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 (edited) You must have been studying Germany's war wagon designs for this one, it looks spot on. Great job on the rock work and the blood stream! Edited April 26, 2015 by Blufiji Quote
Kai NRG Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 The shape on the wagon is superb, I really like the angle! Nice job on the base too! Quote
mrcp6d Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Where did all that blood come from?? Sweet cart, the angles are great. Quote
robuko Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Brilliant blood and wonderful Wagon! Really nice landscaping and fantastic work with the angles. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Great entry Jacob! I especially like the base! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted April 26, 2015 Author Posted April 26, 2015 Thanks everyone! You must have been studying Germany's war wagon designs for this one, it looks spot on. Great job on the rock work and the blood stream! So to say. The only historical example of such a vehicle I've found was the so called hussite war wagon. Quote
de Gothia Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Lovely, just lovely! That base and wagon is looking so good! I really like those rats! You sure have created an own tribe to GoH! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Really neat wagon design! Excellent landscape too Though, I'm not sure I'd be standing where those rats are, liable to be trampled by the oxen Quote
