mrcp6d Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Here we go: Kaliphinite heavy cavalry charges a group of Desert King mummies. Given the hard-packed sand along the Oil Road, the infantry were easily routed by the speed and force of the mounted units. More on Flickr, C&C appreciated! Quote
Captain Dee Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 The border and black base are very sharp and clean and I like the transition from sand to road to rocks. The action is excellent and the cavalry is a well-detailed and colorful feature. Very good overall. Quote
LittleJohn Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Excellent entry! The road and sand look fantastic Great rocks too Quote

mrcp6d Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Here come the cavalry! Nice build! Thanks Andrew! A quite energetic action scene - well put in place! (I am not so sure about the outcome though... ) HA!, the outcome is bloody mummies! Very nice job portraying a battle scene here! Looks like those mummies are finally going to get their deserts! "desserts", not "deserts"; but, they're in the desert, sooooo.... Impressive cavalry! The landscape is well done. I especially like those rocks. Thanks, personally, I think rockwork is one of my strengths, but in this case, they kind of hide the cracked sand. Nice cavalry and landscape! Thanks LV, armor was a stretch for 3 figs... The landscape looks excellent. Furthermore I like the posing of the minifigures Thanks you! Quote
robuko Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Good idea to build the road transverse to the layout. Your photography and lighting are very good as usual, it really makes the details and colours stand out. Quote
