alois Posted May 3, 2015 Author Posted May 3, 2015 Brilliant!! I especially like the interior details! Informative too... There's a SPAR at the end of my road (although it's just a small convenience store) but I never knew SPAR stood for something (or that it was Dutch!). Nice work!! If you look at the logo, it depicts a spruce, which is 'spar' in Dutch, and thus doesn't make sense in any other language. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Great work, Alois! I like the overall look of this large building. You did a great job using different textures to avoid monotonous large wall sections. The store looks very realistic, and well stocked. And the best of all is there are some hidden gems inside - the spotty rug, sofas, coffee table and the round table. Nice! Quote
LAKAbricks Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 If you look at the logo, it depicts a spruce, which is 'spar' in Dutch, and thus doesn't make sense in any other language. Though "spar" means "save (money)" in e.g. Danish and German. Not planned, but nice name for a supermarket Quote
Rickenmireille Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 Een heel mooi gebouw, zijn er ook instructies voor of kun je mij daarbij helpen en een eventuele onderdelen lijst? Quote
alois Posted July 11, 2024 Author Posted July 11, 2024 You are digging up a very old topic. And even in the lovely dutch language, which I happen to speak. Coincidently one I opened myself almost ten years ago. To answer your question: helaas pindakaas.... laat je eigen creativiteit werken! Quote
LL1982 Posted October 2, 2024 Posted October 2, 2024 Cool, nice to see a classic dutch super. Nice facade and indeed also his interior detail. Quote
