Hey everyone! Noticed that we don't have a thread like this, so here I am creating it.

Here, we should discuss the figures that were the predecessors to Bionicle - Slizers/Throwbots, Roboriders, and Voodoo Heads. Maybe we could even discuss other figures Lego has done through the years, such as the dolls from Scala, or Technic Figures. Should be fun!

I would like to see something like the Technic figures again (or something with the same level of articulation). I always thought they would be a better fit for Action Figure playsets than standard minifigures.

I'm thinking about collecting the Roboriders. I got The Boss from eBay, and he was pretty cool. I have the full collection of Throwbots already, so in terms of Bionicle's ancestors, Roboriders is all I'm missing.

And a throwbot arm in CCBS form (perhaps a separate disc-holding piece, usable for storage as well and a stabilizing armor add-on piece to allow the whole arm to be swung as one. Maybe even a low-friction piece) would be glorious. I kind of want to see a CCBS revamp of Electro now, actually.

I'd like a Slizers reboot, we could get a ton of Non-humoniod CCBS builds with them.

I recently built a CCBS version of Torch, and I have to agree that a Slizers reboot would be a lot of fun.

I ordered Dust, Magma, Onyx and Power for SUPER cheap on Bricklink last Saturday. They should be arriving tomorrow!
