Jipay Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 I find it really cool they used a real head plug ! It opens a lot of possibilities :) Quote
mutley777 Posted April 12, 2005 Posted April 12, 2005 maybe 2 extra holes drilled into a white minifig body then add two more arms Quote

Khorne Posted April 13, 2005 Author Posted April 13, 2005 I think that there are allready prints for that, try Kaminoan or Jamit Quote
The Middleman Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 Jeez, they jumped the gun! :o Where can I find their work? Quote
jonfett Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/jamit/De...evous_guard.bmp Here is Jamits decal, can't find anything from Kaminoan or Bertramtalespinner Jon. Quote
Khorne Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 My bad, I thought Kaminoan had made some too. Forgive me ;) Quote

Khorne Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 I got the General Grievous Chase and CLone Scout Walker today!! Grievous looks cool, especially his cape, too bad that it's a little short. Boga(the lizard) is too long according to me :/ and the new Obi, wel, he's OK :-D . I can't give much comments on the Walker, what can I say, it a very cool set, I'll get more of those!! ;) Quote

xwingyoda Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Guys, as I did earlier with the walker, here is a comparison of the scout bikes: Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 Here are pics of the arc (I only took the front because I think its the best part of the ship): Quote
snefroe Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 many thanks, Master Yoda... i'm getting this one in a few weeks... i'll try to get the falcon first... no wait... first i'll ask my wallet... what's your feeling on the length of the nose? I think it's a bit short compared to the span of the ARC; perhaps 1 or 2 studs extra? might i suggest a modification on the nose? Perhaps you could replace the white plate 2x3 by a 1 x 2 plate; shorten the plate (2x 8?) above it with one stud (1 wihte plate 2x3 + 1 white plate 2x4). You would now have a 2x3 space just above the dark red nose plate, right? i would place two slopes of this type: http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/50950 + a white plate 1 x 2 the line of the nose should be looking very smooth now... i'll have to wait a while before i can actually fix this though... Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 That's an excellent suggestion snefroe1 ;) Since I want only one arc, I'll modify it sometimes. I'm not sure I have the piece you're taking about, but "I'm sure a solution will present itself" ;) BTW I just finished the turbo tank, it really rocks ;) However, it also need certain modifications at the axel where the wheels are, I have a sense of unfinished business here ;) I'll post some pics later (isn't weird that I am nearly the only one here posting pics *wacko* ) Quote
snefroe Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 right now, i only have two yellow birds... i've already modified them. perhaps i can post them in the MOC section... Quote
The Middleman Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 I thought they did a rather good job with the nose. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 The upper section could be smoother though Quote
The Middleman Posted April 16, 2005 Posted April 16, 2005 The upper section could be smoother though Yeah, a couple slopes down there might be worth a shot. Quote
