MKJoshA Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Wow. Just wow. Everything is incredible, but what's really standing out to me is your multilevel stand with the Rebel symbol in tiles. Great work! Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Excellent build. All the right shapes present for the ship. I like the way you put in the seating area from the show. Nice attention to detail and the Rebel symbol on the base plate really tops it off. Quote
gavralcraw Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 (edited) I've been admiring this for a while... Any instructions for this baby? Would love to see some! Edited July 30, 2015 by gavralcraw Quote
bootz Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 This is awesome. Just imagine the Ghost thay could fit this! Quote
Junior Shark Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 This is awesome. Just imagine the Ghost thay could fit this! Indeed. It may just expand the boundaries of the comprehensible when it comes to Lego Star Wars.... Quote
goatman461 Posted December 7, 2015 Author Posted December 7, 2015 @gavralcraw - sorry I missed your post before. Sorry, no instructions. I'm happy to help you work through the build if you're interested, but I don't have time to make instructions, and you would not want to make all of the same mistakes I made. Thanks for the bump guys, glad you found this and liked it Quote
sokewl Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 @goatman461 just discovered this version of the Phantom and is great. Did you dismantled it and took pictures maybe? Or are you able to take some more pics to show us how it's put together ;) thank you Quote
Forresto Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 (edited) Incredible! You may have changed my mind on the design of the Phantom. To me it looks much better in your iteration then it does on the show or even in TLG's version. I hate to ask but are you considering building the rest of the Ghost to this scale? Schneeds Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I like the interior's attention to detail. Very nice. Quote
Ellisss_ Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 This is amazing I love the ship. My favourite part of the model is the rebel insignia, it looks really professional. Perfect model, Ellis. Quote
goatman461 Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks guys. So great to see renewed interest in this! Did you dismantled it and took pictures maybe? Or are you able to take some more pics to show us how it's put together ;) thank you No, and it's been disassembled for a while now. I've considered rebuilding it, but keep getting busy with other projects. I'm happy to help you trouble shoot it if you'd like to try to build your own. I remember the interior seats being relatively unstable, so I would change that any way. The main thing that makes the shape, IMHO, is the front, which is a brick shell wrapped around the cockpit and sitting at an angle. The wings are also unique, but I think their probably visible enough to recreate. I hate to ask but are you considering building the rest of the Ghost to this scale? hahahahahaha... Hell no. Besides, there's already a really good version posted http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101530&hl= Quote

I just redid some of the guts to make it more stable and tried a new engine design, so it's fresh on my mind and not packed away yet. It'll also be at BrickFiesta and (likely) BrickUniverse Tulsa this summer if you're local and want to see the insides Quote
Darryl_83 Posted August 2, 2017 Posted August 2, 2017 would you happen to have instructions for this? this is an awesome build! Quote
MovieMocs Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Cool Ship. I also really like the stand...like a lot...like, so much. 10/10 :) Quote
