thewatchman Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Iv started this topic for anyone to post custom marvel or dc bigfigs they have modified or built, ill start off with my first and my second. (a third is in the works) ok, so the first was based on a third party (thing) bigfig and i quite unsuccessfully tried to fill in the textured gaps due to my liking of the overall shape, however i am thinking of a second attempt at this one. so here is kingpin: my second attempt was a little more successful and im quite happy with how it turned out, its one of my favorite villains of all time, i used an official bigfig of green golbin, and made... doomsday: would love to see anyone elses and comments and criticisms are welcome :) Quote
Deathleech Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Ever thought about just moving the face on Kingpin up a little? That way he wouldn't look like he had such a huge forehead and you could make his chin/neck a little fatter looking and more pronounced just by painting it? Quote
gauz Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I have several ideas, just need to finish up my home office so I have a location to work Quote
The Lego Nolan Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 (edited) I love that Doomsday! Also just wondering what paint did you use for kingpins skin? Brand and Color please. Edited June 29, 2015 by The Lego Nolan Quote
thewatchman Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 That world war hulk is amazing! I love the different shades of green and how you've blacked out the sculpted lines! Looks really awesome. Regarding kingpins colour it's citadel elf flesh... Or dwarf flesh, I forget which I used... But now I think about it I'm leaning more towards dwarf. And thanks all for the praise. I plan to build a "blob" next. Quote
Fat Tony Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Minifigures have a limited amount of articulation already but to limit the bigfigs is just criminal! C'mon LEGO (or China) make them with movable legs! I got a Chinese knockoff to customize since I didn't want to cut up my new LEGO Hulk. Now he can run, jump and SMASH like a proper Hulk! Quote
