Outworlder Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Updated 5.12.15 The full squad is complete. enjoy! CSquadLuke by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr Complete Squad3 by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr CompleteSquad2 by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr the Dark Troopers i created are directly modeled after the the final Phase 3 Dark Trooper encountered by Kyle Katarn in the last level of the first person shooter Dark Forces (1995). Inquisitorium_Dark_Trooper by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr Review_DarkTrooperDroidFactory01 by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr 3troop by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr In the original Dark Forces video game 3 different types of Dark Troopers were seen. The Phase 3 units are designed to be the most advanced and heavily armored of the 3 types. Dark Troopers were also used in other Star Wars video games like Galactic Battlegrounds and Empire at War. Review_DarkTrooperPhaseIIBAD_stillA by outworlderohlendorf21, on Flickr To give the squad some variety i decided to modify several Dark Troopers with even more heavy firepower, like a flamethrower and multiple rocket launcher unit. Fuppylodders Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 I really like them. I love any form of dark trooper, or sith troopers, and these are done really well. Im just slightly unsure though, if (to me) the shoulders are too big for the model, or if the heads are just slightly too small (difficult problem to fix though)...? Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Awesome! I love Mechs! Edited May 1, 2015 by LegoPercyJ Quote
MKJoshA Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 Very impressive! I like the variety you've included in each mech. Quote
Azrielsc Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 They look mean as hell! Would the arms look better closer to the body instead of at the edge of the shoulder guards instead? But still an awesome MOC! Quote
kr-lik Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 looks like something from the game Wolfenstein lol good job! Quote
Krikkit Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 These are awesome, but the legs need to be just a tad thicker. Quote
Outworlder Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Im just slightly unsure though, if (to me) the shoulders are too big for the model, or if the heads are just slightly too small (difficult problem to fix though)...? ] Thanks for the helpful hints. I actually thought about that too, I was attempting to give the troopers that exaggerated top heavy look, giving them extra wide shoulders combined with a small head and legs. Quote
Hereticae Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The overheavy tops make them look more like warhammer 40k and less star wars, but those are some fine "mini"figs nonetheless Quote
fnxrak Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 That 1st picture! What! You think you are some kind of a Jedi seeing before it happens Quote
