primi Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I like this MOC a lot but I'm new to this and I'm having some difficulties finding the right parts. Not sure where to get all these white panels for the cabin. Have tried BL but it looks like some of them have never been made in white? Like these vertical ones just before the doors. Were those custom made perhaps? Quote
technic_addict Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 I believe it is this panel. http://alpha.brickli...1&O={"color":1} Quote
primi Posted April 8, 2016 Posted April 8, 2016 It looks more like http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=47713&name=Technic,%20Panel%20Fairing%20#T=P to me. And it only comes in red and blue. The one you posted looks wider I think. Quote

jgw Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 Those photos look like it's a render of the model in a very heavy rendering program, respect! Quote
primi Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Would appreciate some help here. I got most of the truck built but I don't understand how this HOG steering works. I understand the connection from the rear wheels to the engine and also that clutch disengages the engine. That's all seems fine. But HOG steering doesn't quite work for me. There's a pair of freely rotating gears here and first of all, they don't stay in place. And secondly, they are not connected really. So I can't steer. It would probably work just fine if they were connected together (but there's nothing suggesting they should be in the ldd file) and if I included another bushing so they wouldn't slide about. I suppose some of you have built this thing, what am I doing wrong here? I also checked another ldd file of a different model, and it looks the same. Quote
skppo Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Are you perhaps using the new style gears that don't have the small teeth on the side? I think this is the one you need to make it work. Quote
syclone Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 That connection is possible with the old style clutch gears. Quote
primi Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Thanks, that must be it! Looks like newer is not always better eh? Quote
Konsta90 Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Great little models!!! They look like official sets. Clean and stylish. Lego should release them as 1H 2017 small sets. Quote
