Terry's eyes glaze over as only some of the ruler's (rather extensive, in Terry's altered state) words enter his ears, only some of them finding purchase in his jellified mind. He startles back to attention when feels the heat of the flame portal apparate before him.

"Mishter Magus guy, how many of these tricks do you have?!"

With an intoxicated stumble, Terry hops in through the fiery portal, nearly tripping and landing his face directly in the (literal) line of fire.

"Oy!" the dwarf exclaimed as the portal blazed into existence. He followed the party, being careful to not touch the flames. He was a little less than happy about dealing with all this 'voodoo juju' magic. More in one day than he's experienced in his entire life.

As Muradin moves towards the Portal he hears the Magus call out.

Dwarf, it will do you and your Cadre well to know that in the Parlor, the altar FACES SOUTH.

As the dwarf falls through the opening in the gateway the flames start to swirl. The flames form a vacuum, sucking the air from the room and drawing loose objects, including Rethinal towards and into it. The were-eagle attempts to fight the pull at first, but then realizes he needs to follow his companions and gives in to the vortex. He is drawn through, and the gateways closes behind him.

I do so hate Chaos magic.

When the proverbial dust clears the party finds themselves stumbling into a queerly familiar room.

The Room is lit with strange glass orbs affixed to the walls. In the center of the room stands an empty Portal Altar, and in each of the four walls stands an identical steel door. It would seem that the quest has now begun in earnest, and the party has a decision to make.

QM NOTE: in each image you will see three doors, there is also a fourth door behind the heroes point of View.

Keliim feels strange when he blastes through the portal, "never will get us to that"

He looks around, squareroom and a identicalaltar in the middle, four doors to every direction. "What are those orbs in the walls" he thinks, he reaches out to one.

"Hmm, interesting. The question is which one?"

"That is to us to deci'd i guess!" Keliim answers the cleric.

"Hmmm I wonder if this is a real place or just an illusion. Pretty wicked. So, there are supposed to be 25 rooms in a 5 by 5 grid. I suppose any room is as good as the next at this point. Does anyone have a preference, I'm partial to South, myself."

"Ay I don´t think it matters too much where we start, we hast to go through them all I guess to find the keys and solve the mystery. South sounds good to me also."

"I guess there is one key plac'd in every direction, that makes 4... where is the fifth?"

Kelim reaches out and touches the glowing orb. It is smooth and strangely cool to the touch, encased within the orb is a glowing yellow stone. Though it gives off a pure white light it gives off no heat. Even to a barbarian it is obviously a magical device of some kind.

Calamity smiled at the formal tone of the barbarian: "Kelim, since we chose you as our party leader, that means we put some trust in you, you don't have to consult all of us for every little thing, pick a direction, we'll keep up."

"Go on our 'fearless leader', get on wit' it." The dwarf mocked. The Magus had said something to him...something something south. Feeling particularly oppositional today, or night, he decided to add on to that. "But if it was up to me, I'd 'ead northward."

Keliim turns his back agains the dwarf and "accidentally" but lightly knocks him in the helmet with the end of his axe.

"okay (oke i and oke y), all then we go south!"

Keliim walks to the stealdoor to the south and opens it.

South it is. The Party make an abrupt turn on their heels and exit the Altar Room through the door directly IN FRONT of the Portal Altar.

They enter into what oddly enough appears to be some sort of STORAGE room. Multiple crates and Barrels are stacked in the far corners of the room. Other than a few stray cobwebs and the light orbs the room seems to be fairly Mundane. As the last member of the group enters the room the door swings shut behind them with a solid reverberating CLANK of metal on metal.

He looks around nothing much to see, more doors and some chests "this is like a maze" he thinks

Not Locked, just firmly shut. And you will need to be more specific than "Check all the stuff."

"Calamity, thou check the 2 chests on the right side of the room, are they looked? And I will open the chest on the left side. Keliim also check what is behind that chest.

QM: better, you can only look at one thing at a time. :laugh: I want to give as many chances as I can for people to interact with the environment.

The dwarf twisted his helm back, as it had turned 180 degrees from the "light" tap Kelim had thrown. He could now see the rest of the party had gathered in the room directly ahead of him. Following through the doorway after them. The dwarf, with no subtly, punched the large man in the kneecap. "HEH." No one baps Muradin Falstad and gets a way with it. he thought to himself.

Keliim will open the single chest on the left side.

The barbarian reaches for the Chest and notices an inscription on the lock plate. "Sleep lightly with one eye open."

The Dwarf opens the chest with no resistance. inside he finds

"I think thou will need this the most. But good thinking about the map, I am making a mindmap in my head (Excel on my computer :sweet: )anyone who feels like it should also, try to remember the rooms then we can compare them to each other."

"Hey, guys? Think we should make a map or something?"

The yung mage looks at his reflection in the globes on the wall, seeing if they contained anything.

He sees only his reflection floating in front of a glowing yellow crystal.

"Might be a good idea." RETHINAL CHECKS THE STACK OF BARRELS.

The Were-Eagle goes to the barrels and begins shifting them around. The Top barrel, through in pristine condition is empty. He removes it from the pile and searches the bottom two. The right barrel has a small plaque on the top reading "The effects of ones actions must be dealt with accordingly" He pries off the lid and finds

But before he can examine the third barrel he sees Calamity Poking the spider in its web.

​As Calamity steps forward to get within reach of the web she hear a small "CLICK". She looks down to see she has just stepped on a small plaque affixed to the floor. It reads "A wise warrior knows when not to poke into the affairs of others."

AS she finishes reading the inscription the top of the front chest at the right of the room begins to open slowly. First one, then Five, the innumerable legs lift bloated black bodies over the lip of the Chest.
