Selina Kyle's torso (light nougat arms, obviously) with the Avengers Tower tactical legs (used by Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Falcon) would be a good combination for Mara Jade. My issue with using Black Widow's torso is that her belt is too iconic to the character, so it is rather distracting for Mara.

BTW, the medium nougat/reddish brown dual-moulded legs from the Orient Express are available on PAB now, for anyone who wants to update their New Republic officers!

I'm using that torso but backwards plus the old Han Solo legs (black with brown holster). Cara Dune hair in red (too bright?). I need to add that tan cloth piece LordHelmet is using - that's good.

I'll have to pick some of those legs up - thanks!

I ordered some of the Monkie Kid hair pieces (element 6415691) to play around and create some cool characters. Is there any species in Star Wars that looks like this?

Great, thanks! I read there were two less catlike subspecies, the Juhani and the Myr Rho. They may even fit better. Now the DC Cheetah minifigure i own comes in handy

I like to use that piece with a Nien Nunb head to more accurately achieve the head shape of a Sullustan. It's a bit more hair than we usually see them with but they have appeared with hair before so it's not necessarily inaccurate.

Dual-moulded white/black legs are back, courtesy of Harry Potter!

I picked up some of these recently from pick a brick (the picture does not show up for the item, but I took a risk and ordered some so I am ready for the next thrawn).  They were definitely the dual molded white legs with black boots.

On an unrelated note is anyone else buying the Luke keychain for the arm prints to upgrade Red Squad pilots?  I don't want to use the legs/torso because they are the weird keychain ones but the Arms seemed like fair game as official lego parts.

Update, I picked up three of the Luke keychains and popped off the arms and legs to upgrade my red squad pilots without breaking the bank.  Will grab more when they go on sale someday.

Here are some random characters that use the Monkie Kid hair piece. The only tan heads i have are Palpatine's though. The other minfig is DC's Cheetah.

The one on the left reminds me of Dryden's henchmen from Solo. Cheetah looks even more feral than before with that hairpiece. Really nice

The first thing I thought when I saw the new M-Tron CMF was that his accessory was perfect for Baze Malbus. I'm not 100% convinced about the gun, I had hoped the belt came off the claw but it's dual moulded. Maybe it would be better to use the claw as the backpack and attach the gun to the other end.

Bonus - why haven't we had royal guards with proper robes yet?!

So, I bought the new mando/imperial BP today and the first thought was to replace the head on the Nite Owl to make a Koska Reeves stand-in. At the moment I'm undecided on the head, so what's your opinion for the best between option nr 1 and option nr 2?
Also, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions for a hairpiece they would be welcome :)

I use that first one on my Koska.

First one; the second is both too light and too happy-looking for Koska. As for the hair, the only thing that would even be close to her on-screen counterpart is a the King Valkyrie hair with most of the ponytail part cut off. 😬

Taking some inspiration from pics posted a few months back, here's my purist minifigs of Kyle Katarn, Jan Ors and Mara Jade. Open to alternatives for Kyle's head; Captain America would be better but only if the price comes down a lot!

They look great!  I like the hair selection for Mara and the black lightsaber hilt.  Very nice.

Good timing with the new set coming out.  I just ordered some of the imperial officer ones last month (dark grey with black, plus a white with black).  Will probably hold off on another PAB for at least a month.

It's not exactly making the fig more accurate, but I was a bit disappointed with the body and lack of cape on Darth Jar Jar, so I swapped his head with Darth Dev, who has a surprisingly detailed design for an original character. Plus a cape, of course. Thoughts?

Yep, looks better fitting for the darkest of Lords, Darth Jar Jar

An Imperial GONK droid!!

The appearence of the Imperial gonk droid (seen in the background while the Imperial technicians transfer the scanners on board of the Millennium Falcon in Ep. IV) is inspired by a black and white deleted scene of Stormtroopers running in the corridors of the Death Star until the droid is left all alone. Rebels Vader minifigure has cloth leg elements - only printed arms of the new versions may now be required to make him perfect. :pir-vader:

Custom Lego Star Wars minifigures - an Imperial GONK droid!!

I currently have 11 'perfect' standard Stormtroopers, but plan to increase the number up to 20.
