The legs from the patrol trooper are the same as the Hovertank Pilot's legs from the Rogue one wave.

That being said, the scout troopers already recieved a legpiece with dedicated print

The legs are close but different the new patrol trooper has more details on the "knees" and the hip part of the hovertank pilot has a black strip in the crotch. And the belt printing is different on both to match the different torsos. I do wish they would stop splitting the belts between the torso and hips makes reuse harder.

Lego should have never done the white on black printing for the scout troopers. I agree that the way the Patrol Troopers and Tank drivers where done is way better.

I agree the white on black printed scouts never should have happened. The black arms I think are even worse than the legs. All mine are the unprinted white legs that need an update.

For me, the biggest update needed for scout troopers is the helmet! Desperateneed of some printing or dual molding around the mouth part.

Now if they update the helmet, they could go for a two piece rout, so that it hinges. I personally would want that, even though it sounds neat, it may compromise the molding and make them more expensive to produce.

Let's have some more Rebels love!

I think the grey hairpiece of the female fig with pink vest would be the best option for Sabine past S2. Of course it ain't accurate, but I'll probably still use it in that colour for her, since I got bored of the Cyborg hair.

On another note: anyone having idead for a Sabine hairpiece that would fit her appearance in the Epilouge?

Could someone try using two rubber bands on a Chewbacca please? I think it would look a bit better than the official Solo Chewbacca.

I'm pretty sure there aren't many hair pieces with the right colour, so you would probably have to use an inaccurate colour.

Good idea with that hair piece, I might have to try that!

I actually think the regular Biker Scout legs look the best on them. In a perfect world they'd be dual moulded for white boots but I can live without that for having the correct design and print on them. The figure is very much improved with the dual moulded arms though.

I tried these but prefer the dual-moulded ones with the boot details above.

Although I’ve just noticed the new range trooper legs which are white on the sides - may look slightly better?

Don’t have the figure yet tho to try - anyone able to...?

Here is one of my scouts with the new range trooper legs.

Scout trooper update

i did not switch the hips just swapped them quick to see how it looks. From the front they look really good the sides are pretty much the same as there were before.

And here is a before.

Scout trooper update

and the side

Scout trooper update

 I thinks it’s a pretty good improvement.

Looks pretty good, maybe not enough black looking full circle tho - think I still prefer the rocker legs (with some detail removed)

Many thanks for the pics! :)

Sorry, fella. :)

I've heard from a little bird that those grey and black arms may be sold in packs soon of around 5 pairs. Stormie arms are looking like they may be in packs on 10 as well as sold individually. That should at least save me a little as I need a LOT of them.

oh that looks nice! You have one in White on a snowtrooper? or anywhere where I can see that?

Sorry no I don’t have any on snow troopers and I could find any pictures of them. I use a lot of the packs they make. I have a full platoon of stormtroopers with black commando packs and I’ve used the ARC packs and range packs on other specialty troopers.

They're on Firestartoys now, 10 for £16.95. They've also got Blue Squadron arms, available in packs of 5 for £8.95.

All are absolutely great, but I can't justify it myself. Got too many to buy even in those pack volumes (well at least in regards to the stormtrooper) and they don't bring 'enough' to it for me to justify the cost. Those of you with deep pockets though, I'll be very envious of.

I justified it for the imperial black and grey arms, simply because they had the insignia specifically and I felt that element really brought to life some of the plain jumpsuit-wearing characters, but with these now available and we've got so many stormtroopers and pilots, it just becomes a case of "when do you stop?" Do I buy these stormtrooper arms for the First Order? Clone Troopers? Old Republic Troopers? Are those going to come out in the future? Our snowtroopers, shore troopers, shadow troopers etc would look pretty plain alongside them after such an upgrade. Plus likewise the rebel ones aren't available for red pilots, green pilots (both shades) and grey pilots - personally I'd rather have all or nothing. The only rebel ones I've bought are for my really old school X Wing pilot torsos, to bring them up to date a bit more so as not to waste them, which alongside snowspeeder pilot legs, Firestar heads and newer helmets really did help a great deal, but if I kitted up all our other little guys with them, then these newer stormtrooper and blue squadron ones on-top of those and the silly amount i've already spent on imperial crew arms would just be a wallet-killer for me... and what can I say... I've also got to eat!!

Doesn't mean I'm not grateful though!!! Keep on going Firestar, love what you're doing... if you fancy making custom printed Rebel Pilot helmets, I'll just give you my bank account details ;)

*Reads comment. Nods in agreement all the way through. Subconsciously opens new browser window and adds 3 packs of Stormtrooper arms to the basket*

Haha, very well put. I think I've ended up with 20+ sets of black and grey Imperial arms... jeez that's £40 on little pieces of plastic. Seems justifiable down the pub spending that much on booze, yet when I look at what I've accomplished for that money in buying pieces of custom-printed Lego that my son doesn't particularly care about the details of (he'd rather just smash the AT-M6 over again during our 'walker assaults'), I sometimes think I've gone mad haha.

It began with just the black jumpsuit crewmen and the death star troopers. Then it extended to the death star gunners and ground crew. Then the TIE pilots. Then they released the grey ones! AAAGGGHHH!!! Somehow it doesn't seem like a waste of money when I do it gradually haha, but wow, first world problems eh?

What's more annoying is I just made an order yesterday for two more sets of black arms, wish I'd seen this coming, I'd have held off a day just to save a bit of postage to get an aforementioned set of stormie arms for our lone tank pilot. The two black pairs of arms being for 1) the TIE pilot in the TIE Fighter Solo movie set which we've not even bought yet (got to think ahead!) and 2) after having counted up all we needed, for the tenth time over to be sure and being absolutely 1000% certain I accounted for everyone before ordering... then the order arrived, I picked up the TIE Advanced Prototype to remove the pilot and bestow him with his new set of appendages, only to discover a V-Wing pilot armed with a wrench performing maintenance work behind it. I begrudgingly typed their address back into my browser whilst swearing unholy things under my breath as i did so... then I discover these new ones a day later.

I need to stop being so anal retentive about the movie details on my son's toys haha.

Yeah. I feel your pain. My TIE pilots all have the UCS printed arms (now THAT hurt)... although I've made some of it back by selling on full TIE Pilot figures at a profit. I'm holding off picking up the printed arm torsos from the UCS Snowspeeder for the rest of my Snowie Pilots. Then there's the Stormtroopers, X-Wing Pilots, Grey Uniform Imperials, Gunners, Navy Fleet Troopers............

I'm still sorely tempted to try and get some arms pad printed in silver on black as well as black on grey. Single colour artwork and same artwork for all arms. Shouldn't be too expensive.

Are there any dual-molded dark tan legs with black boots that fit the dark tan imperial uniforms besides the Ghostbusters legs?  I think they would work but I'm worried about removing the printing.  Has anyone done that?
