Calanon Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 These look good! You may want to change the Rodian and Duros (Blue dude) hands to match the skin tone or brown for gloves. Other than that, these would look great in an Endor diorama! If you can find a couple of the old Endor battle packs cheaply, you can put them on a green base plate and build some small trees, then put some Ewoks, Scout Troopers and these figures, and that would look great! The hands are tan, not light. They're already gloves, but yeah they are pretty similar in colour. Quote

Hasbro? Think you made a mistake there. If you look at the Alliance pathfinders though tan is very much the correct colour for the gloves. Quote
Venkefedo Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Hasbro? Think you made a mistake there. If you look at the Alliance pathfinders though tan is very much the correct colour for the gloves. So I did! Fixed (that's what I get for looking at some Hasbro lightsaber thing just before visiting that post) While 'tan' seems fitting based on some toys & perhaps some images, dark tan really does look a lot nicer considering the Lego colors specifically. Lego tan is too light, and too close to the light flesh tone that it seems kinda jarring sometimes. Quote
That Orange Thing Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 Ebkas was correct as changing the hand colour on the Rodian and Duros figs was planned but it obviously slipped my mind. I think we all agree the hand colour is very close to flesh so needs changing to brown. The dark tan sounds more fitting but I'm guessing if it was a one off it will be rare and expensive. Quote
Sneakguest Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 1 by That Orange Thing, on Flickr 2 by That Orange Thing, on Flickr I just so happen to have been messing around with my Endor troops. As you can see i bought a few of the torso's off bricks n pieces so the waist printing doesn't match on some but hopefully i can update that with new green leg camo pieces later on. Thought I'd post this to show some of the experimenting I'm doing. A couple of my favs are the Endor pilot with Hans blaster leg print and the figs that use the tan camo print from the recent rebel battle pack. The olive green dino hunter piece and brown gun slinger leg pieces are also interesting. Forresto, can i ask what backpacks your using and what figs are the capes from as they look amazing? Where does the legs for the middle figure come from as well as the head for the second figure from the right on the lower picture, the one with two red scars on both cheeks? Quote

The legs are from CMF Series 12 Dino Tracker... the head, I think, is from a merchant & guard in Prince of Persia. It looks a bit different there, tho, so maybe I'm wrong. Quote
That Orange Thing Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 The legs are Dino tracker but the head is a cavalry soldier from the Lone Ranger cavalry builder set. Quote
Ebkas Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Those are supposed to be gloves? Come on Lego! Actually, as Calanon said, those are a good match for the Endor troopers gloves. Dark Tan hands are a little pricey on BL, around 1-2 dollars. Maybe you should have hands to match the flesh colours. That would be inaccurate but would look better than currently. Oh, and anyone know how to update the minifigs in set 8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack? I can design a skirt for the Snowtroopers, and I actually like the black heads (Why did they change it to flesh?). Any suggestions? Edited May 26, 2016 by Ebkas Quote
Forresto Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 The only white legs with printing that work for snow troopers was to use the AT-DP Pilot's legs but that was for the new version. I'm unsure how that would work on the old snow troopers. Y For kama you could buy these Kama Skirts. Light grey appears to be cheaper and I don't think light grey would look bad on the snow troopers. Quote
Fenom Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 I would just use the legs from the First Order snowtroopers Quote

General Magma Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I couldn't find it on B&P! Ditto. Maybe the B&P selection differs per location, I can't really think of any other explanation. Is there anyone who wants to snatch up a group of those AT-DP legs (and possibly other B&P pieces that I can't seem to find) for me? Quote

bountybossk Posted May 27, 2016 Posted May 27, 2016 I just checked B&P (from the Netherlands) and I couldn't find them anymore. So it seems they're gone everywhere. I was able to buy them before. Quote

Well, that's annoying. BL seems like to only option to get it, except for buying the sets the Minifigure comes in. Quote
