Lolas Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 After a few years of small dark age I finally finished a new MOC. A lot of grey bricks, a lot of trans blue tiles and here it is: mountain lake tower :) For more details please visit moc's gallery. Quote
Full Plate Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Welcome back! I love the build! There's a lot going on here and it's all well finished and detailed. Would have loved to see it IRL :) Quote
Dubbadgrim Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Beautiful! I love that waterfall technique and all the scenes going on ! Looks like one guys pretty desperate for some grog Quote
Wodanis Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 I really like all the details that you have put into your creation in particular the way you did the waterfall and the winch for the storage doors. Excellent work! Quote
ElCrab Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Love your water techniques, especially the waterfall, and the pulley/crane wheel is well done. Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Well, I officially died and went to Lego heaven. This is an amazing MOC. Great work my friend. You can tell a lot of time, thought, effort, and all around work was put into the creation of this. Keep up the good work and I hope to see more from you soon. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 Absolutely beautiful The overall looks is stunning, but the numerous details packed in are what really make it impressive to me. The landscape sections look very natural, and have lots of fun lively scenes Your waterfall design is genius, and I can't recall seeing it before. Great to see you building again, I remember some of your old MOCs, particularly your CCC entries Quote
Jreacher Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Very beautiful!, I love the waterfalls, the trees are great especially the fall colors! The guy with his foot in the trap was awesome haha. Also liked the guy coming out of the water next to the boat! Well done! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Absolutely excellent, fabulous. "Mountain Lake Tower" - what a modest title for such a vast MOC. And the details are terrific too. Also great new approach for a waterfall! Quote
ED-209 Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous!! I love all the little details, but I'd not want to be the one storming a castle like that! One question: what piece did you use for the birds' necks? Quote
corunpiana Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Looks like one guys pretty desperate for some grog Quote
frumpy Posted May 9, 2015 Posted May 9, 2015 Fantastic build. I love it. It looks very imposing and the gatehouse with bridges is wonderfully done. Quote
Lolas Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 Thanks a lot for your comments. I'm so glad you like my MOC :) One question: what piece did you use for the birds' necks? It's just a piece of flex (with wire inside :-)) Quote
LegoFanfromPR Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Superb. A castle in its own right, if you ask me (or possibly anyone else). Amazing job!!!! Quote
Gunman Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Massive and well done structure my friend... A great castle for sure! Quote
BrickJagger Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 The detail and techniques used here are stunning. Congrats! Quote
SimonJC Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 This is such an epic build, I love castles with those long bridges, like something out of vampire hunter D, very cool. The water is spot on, and the mountain forest breaks up the grey of the castle and stonework, which is ace. And the little features like cove keep the landscape interesting. I am equal parts impressed, jealous and intimidated. Well done. Quote
Balbo Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Wow, that's a fantastic 'comeback' MOC . I love the wall, the rockwork and the vegetation Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Gorgeous build! :wub_drool: The landscape is superb and I love the corner technique for the towers Quote
The Indivisible Woman Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I feel like it would take me a few years just to assemble the right bricks for this - it's beautifully intricate! I particularly love the techniques for the windows and the waterfall, and the overall humour of the build as well! Quote
PaddyBricksplitter Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Blimey! That's massive. You have lots of great details in there too, well done. Quote
Digger1221 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 This is such a gorgeous MOC. Just the right balance of classic colors and style, combined with fresh colors, techniques and parts. One of those castle MOCs that I could just keep staring at, pouring over all the lovely details. Keep up the fabulous work! Quote
