Kai NRG Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Furious at the treachery of the traders of Qarkyr, Ageven had been in the front ranks of the Ulandian plotters, doing his best to get the town to give it's allegiance where it's allegiance belonged! Not too surprisingly, this brought him a lot of rather undesired attention from the ruthless bands of marauding Desert King supporters... so he decided to use that to his advantage! ... ...and led them right into a trap! Complete with oil covered stairs, angry citizens, and wheels ready to fall on their heads... wait, what?! Comments are welcome! I had a good deal of trouble sticking all those houses on the tiny footprint - I know I didn't come close to maxing out but I was pressed for time... you'll see why when I upload my next build in a few minutes! Anyhow, I was pretty happy with the way most of it turned out, especially the gold street and rug doorway! Quote
Legocity2713 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Very good work all around. I love it. Quote
Spader Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Quite nice! Normally, I don't like gold cobblestone, but you do it quite well! Quote
Blufiji Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I really like the street paved with gold. Nice work! Quote
Balbo Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Excellent scene! I love the golden ground and the stairs. Furthermore the colour scheme is very nice, too Quote
LittleJohn Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Excellent build, Kai! As others have said, the gold street looks great and I really like the texturing on the red house Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 That's a busy, colorful scene. I like the gold in the street and the curving staircase is excellent. The posing and photography are superb. And the man with the wheel is one well-armed dude. Good job. Quote
Garmadon Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Ha, ha, great build Kai, very nice fig posing here and the street and houses are great as well! Down with the Desert King and his tyranny! Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 11, 2015 Author Posted May 11, 2015 Thanks guys! I'm glad the gold street worked well, at first I was afraid it would look a little too ornate! Quote
MassEditor Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Great looking scene, so many details and action packed into this scene. I agree the gold cobblestone is well done here. Interesting trap idea, and the stairs look good. Excellent job on the posing too! Quote

soccerkid6 Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 Cool curving stairs, and the gold street is quite impressive. The simple black border is quite effective here too Quote
Kai NRG Posted May 15, 2015 Author Posted May 15, 2015 Great looking scene, so many details and action packed into this scene. I agree the gold cobblestone is well done here. Interesting trap idea, and the stairs look good. Excellent job on the posing too! Thank you! I had a much more elaborate and much better trap idea, but the layout of the build didn't allow for it, and I was running out of time for rebuilding! Fine - I like the stairs! Thanks! Great job! The fig posing is excellent! Thanks Robin! Cool curving stairs, and the gold street is quite impressive. The simple black border is quite effective here too Thank you! I've been experimenting with my borders lately! Quote
