This is gorgeous. Your use of color is stunning.

Could you post some detail pictures of one of your larger trees? How many leaf elements go into them? I'm guessing 50+.

hey

on my flickr link you can see the larger trees in a bit more detail. It takes about 60 leaves to make the larger ones.

Stunning, absolutely stunning! Everything just fits so well together. From the different variety and placement of the trees to the village to the rocks.

Never said that to a Nocturnian before, it's beautiful man!

HAHAHAHAHA! With the large projects I have planned, I hope I can make you say it a lot more in the future. To everyone else that has commented, I'll be honest. I never expected this to have so many positive responses and it is very appreciated, truly! However in light of current events going on in this forum, this will be my last response to this topic. I don't want to keep bumping this up and with everything else going on. Thank you all again I really appreciate you guys commenting on this MOC.

Sorry it took me so long to comment on this, really fantastic job Blufiji, you certainly nailed the forest look head on! The river and mountainside are superb as well, and the houses and castle are excellent as well - as mentioned above, great job fleshing out Nocturnus a bit with this! :sweet::thumbup:

An impressive build, well done! The trees are certainly what stand out the most, they add that extra level of life that makes a moc pop, something different and memorable. I wonder if you imitate the colors on the ground like fallen leaves using 1x1 plates and studs could add even more depth.
