KF-IPS-422 (AG: Scouting Hamilton Belt) by Lord Tyrus, on Flickr

Jycho Tyrus had been working for the Kawashita Corporation for many years now, but it was today that Tyrus saw himself going on a 'real' mission. No more escorts or freight transports, he had been promoted to the KP/DC, or Kawashita Pilot/Discovery Corps, and upon promotion, he was presented with a brand new Kawashita Fleet InterPlanetary Spacecraft, with the id number 442, and straightaway a mission to pilot a scout to the Hamilton Belt.

The only other contact anyone from Kawashita had made with the system was a scouting trip made by Agent Beltar, though he hadn't reported back to HQ yet. Tyrus' mission was more than a scouting trip though. He and an explorer, Keo Tridon, had been ordered to the asteroid belt to gather some resources that the sector was apparently abundant in: Awesomnium.

With a deep breath, Tyrus piloted his ship towards the centre of the asteroid cluster. Command had said there was 0% chance of alien activity in the area, due to the lack of oxygen, though he was still dubious, he had head stories of men who had been attacked by giant space worms living in the asteroids and were lucky to survive, and stories of some who didn't. He would have to hope that even if they were attacked, his five year pilot training would get them both out alive.

"It's my first real mission," Tyrus thought, "Let's make it a good one!"

I started off with a shorter story than I usually write this time, I couldn't think of much to write today. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed it. More pics under the spoiler:

Great build! I like its shape and also the fact that two minifigs can sit side by side which is not something I see very often in Lego. When I build a spaceship for my son, I'm going to base it off this.

Great shape. I like the back end but I think the front could be a bit smoother. The controls are interesting

Thank you. The controls are meant to be held in each hand, wirelessly connected to the ship for easier use.

Thank you, I feel honored!

Love that first shot with the asteroid background image. Liking the ship aswell. Got a nice look to it that's perfect for scouting trips.

The ship looks amazing, my only critique would be that the front could be a bit smoother, but overall, it's a great ship! As Mike S said, I love how the figs can sit next to each other in a neat fashion, because many other ships have to have them behind one another. The edited pic and the story is really cool too! Kawashita will gain control of the Hamilton Belt very soon!

Thanks guys, I did want the front to look quite flat though, like a sort of ram.

I really like the look of the ship, and that edit is just awesome. Well done, man!

Very nice story and ship :classic:

I really like all the techniques you used and the editing

Thank you both! It's probably one of my favorite ship MOCs to date. I enjoyed editing it, and I'm going to try to edit all of my AG builds. Watch this space!

Very nice ship, and the presentation is excellent. I thought that first shot was LDD. My son interpreted it as flying backwards, with the blue flames as missiles. Really nice build
