Epic Technic Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Wow! As Jezza would say: SPEED AND POWER!!!!!! Quote
nerdsforprez Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I am not sure what to be more jealous of... your build..... the fact that you even have four RC motors, or the fact that you were camping in such beautiful wilderness! Great job! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 The shaping is just perfect! Great decals too. Quote
GoldCivetta Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 isn't it illegal to have more than 2 buggy motors in your model? Nice build, mate. Quote
Zerobricks Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 4 RC motors! What a beast! Please post a pucture of the chassis. Quote
KirTech LAB Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 Thanks! All decals are from official sets :) Please post a pucture of the chassis. I have rather bad photo now: Quote
DamonMM2000 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 That looks sweet and performs spectacularly! Quote
DickesC Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 No universal joints? How does the steering works without? ;-) Quote
zux Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Looks to be a beast! Any damaged parts due to much power? Apart from scratches. Quote
pluto7443 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Do I see right the front two RC motors actually turn with the wheels? Takes a massive build to accommodate that sort of steering. Quote
KirTech LAB Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 Do I see right the front two RC motors actually turn with the wheels? Takes a massive build to accommodate that sort of steering. Yes, front RC motors really turn with front wheels so I don't need universal joints! Furthermore the gravity acting to these motors provides right castor angle. Looks to be a beast! Any damaged parts due to much power? Apart from scratches. No damaged parts, only scratches :) Quote
DickesC Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Detailed pictures of the front axle would be nice Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Brutal! Simple, but effective styling. Very interested in the frontaxle design as well, that's an ingeneous solution to prevent U-joints. Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Great Moc, and stunning film work  Quote
BusterHaus Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 The stock stickers are very well used. Great build! Quote
Doc_Brown Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Insane! This has to be the best off-road video ever made featuring a technic model! Great job. Brilliant using motors like that. No universal joints, no diffs, no S-brick :) Quote
KirTech LAB Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Thanks a lot! Edited January 1, 2020 by desert752 Quote
KirTech LAB Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 I've replaced gear ratio from 1:1 to 1:3 so I've lost velocity but now it can move not only downhill :) Thanks for watching! Quote
KirTech LAB Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) I've created a short movie about my trip with this model. It was very funny! Edited July 7, 2015 by desert752 Quote
KirTech LAB Posted July 7, 2015 Author Posted July 7, 2015 Looks like an amazing trip. Yes! North nature is awesome. I want to create a ship and film these rocks from water - it should be very beautiful! Quote
