Lady K Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Linopeia III - B03 The Truth Revealed Expedition Log: 18 Maian 3815 Commander: Lady Kianna with forward expedition/insertion team Alpha Planet: Linopeia III - B03 Weather: Hot, dry ,calm atmosphere Environment: Harsh, desert lakes that appear and disappear with the turbulent weather patterns. Some wet sandy areas of large lake still visible. Dry sand, uneven terrain with jagged peaks cover the rest of the area. Large spiky plants with local wildlife possible some sort of spider-like creature visible. Commander’s Log: Planetary surface appears rough and uneven. Air temperature is very hot and dry. I feel we are being watched. No noises, nothing moving, not even a wind to take away the chill I feel in this desolate environment. Leo is obviously on edge, he feels as I do, his eyes are constantly scanning the wet lake bed. Orion is cautiously looking at some of the jagged rock. This planet is supposed to be rich in Awesomnium, we don’t see it yet. Elara is looking at some strange local wildlife that appears to be a yellow frog……..and now I see them, as does my team, many frog-like creatures some yellow in the rocks and some brown in the wet lake bed…..but all have what looks like humanoid bones or cyborg pieces by them. And they are all starring intently at us! Hunting us! Good thing we always come armed and prepared. My team and I prepare for what is to come, either a silent retreat or another fight to remember……… Hope you have enjoyed Linopeia III - B03 C&C Welcome. Edited May 21, 2015 by Lady K Quote

Dannylonglegs Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Lovely landscaping! I can't help but wonder if a holy hand grenade is necessary to deal with those Bloody Bufo's! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Quote
Graham Gidman Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Great build, even if it is for M.A.N.T.I.S. Quote

Lady K Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Great story to go with the build. I like the killer frogs. Like the landscaping of the build. Makes for a great scene. Thanks AC. Glad I could finally use my frogs. Lovely landscaping! I can't help but wonder if a holy hand grenade is necessary to deal with those Bloody Bufo's! ~Insectoid Aristocrat Thanks Dannylonglegs. A holy hand grenade may work if they don't release some sort of poison when they explode! Great build, even if it is for M.A.N.T.I.S. Thanks Graham. Wow that is incredibly well done scene. Excellent depiction of the environment. Looks awesome Thanks Boxerlego. Glad I was able to capture the planet's environment. Edited May 18, 2015 by Lady K Quote

Lady K Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Nice build and great idea for the alien activity! Thanks, Mike S. My first thought for local wildlife was something with a lot of arms. Then I saw my poor never used before frogs. Wow, great build! I love the story and the terrain is perfect! Poor android(s)...And a skeleton. Thank you Commander Beltar. I have not worked with flat, desert terrain before and the android and skeletons seem perfect for it.
