Full Plate Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Lovely! The rockwork is truly excellent What top two pieces on the chimney? Don't recognise them... Quote
Graham Gidman Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks, guys! You gotta be a ninja to get out of that house. Haha, no kidding. Lovely! The rockwork is truly excellent What top two pieces on the chimney? Don't recognise them... Here you go: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=32187 Quote
Jreacher Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Looks very good. I like the window alot, shutters are cool. the stream really adds to the overall build also. Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Every part of this is amazing! the rocks, river, trees, bushes, the house itself... amazing! Quote
mrcp6d Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I'm not sure about the overhang, but this is a lovely build nonetheless. Very peaceful indeed! Quote
BrickJagger Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 This looks........ dangerous to live in. Looks great! Quote
SimonJC Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 So good, i love small but detailed scenes like this, you are clearly very skilled to make it so realistic. Very impressed. Quote
Balbo Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Fantastic work The rockwork and the vegetation look great. Moreover I like how you made the house. Quote
Balthazar Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Amazing work! I like every detail of this MOC :) Interesting windows technique by the way. Quote
Regenerate builder Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 This does look peaceful and quaint! You have very good techniques and this is a nice clean build. Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 What a beautiful build ... let's hope that the right part of the house does not fall into the river... Rockwork is very good too! Quote
Graham Gidman Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) Thanks, everyone! I'm not sure about the overhang, but this is a lovely build nonetheless. Very peaceful indeed! Bad camera angle, mostly. This is a better view: Edited November 12, 2015 by Graham Gidman Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 This is a nice, quiet setting that matches the title well. The rocks look great and I like the way the path and stream both curve around them. The plants look lovely as well and while the house is well-built, it does look a little precarious perched on the outward-leaning edge. Good work overall. Quote
Sir Walter Maugham Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 It is very peaceful living in the classic castle world... until your house slides into the stream. Great build! The house's overhang is very eye catching. I also like the use of barrels for the tree's trunk. Quote
Isundir Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 I loves its, especially how it looks great without going overboard/overkill on greebles I believe they are called. Quote
gamejutzu Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 If the house extends all the way there, it won't be a peaceful existence for long. Nice chimney though. Quote
Spader Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 I love the detailing, but I still can't avoid feeling that half of that house is going to fall into the river............Nice work! Quote
