lightningtiger Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Another day, another hardware store. Only four stickers, and all brick-built everything else. Keep watching ! Quote
agrosskurth8191 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Love it. one question though, what set did you get the chainsaw in I've been looking for one and can't seem to find it. Quote
THERIZE Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Love it. one question though, what set did you get the chainsaw in I've been looking for one and can't seem to find it. I believe they LEGO City osprey has a chainsaw. Maybe expensive for only a chainsaw but I recommend the set for everyone. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Thanks for the feedback/comments guys, but my chain saw is scratch built just like the rest of the MOC. Funny no one has noticed how I have done the shop front windows ? Quote
Captain Dee Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Believe you me the angled windows were the FIRST thing I noticed - and they're very good. Then I saw the chainsaw! As a longtime Stihl user (029 Farm Boss, to be exact) I approve of this project. My only complaint is that the store is a bit sparse, otherwise it's very good. Nice work! Quote

Thanks and I'll be filling the shelves of the chain saw display and add a few other items......so keep watching ! (this will end up on Lego Ideas......I hope) Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Another day, another fine hardware store. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 Another day, another fine hardware store. Thanks 'Captain', I would be biased if I agreed, it's a fine hardware store ! More photos coming soon with the small additions. Keep watching ! Quote
AirborneAFOL Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I always enjoy (and occassionally plagerize!) your very clever interior accessories. Both the chainsaw and lead blower (or power sprayer?) are pretty slick. Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) Thanks 'AirborneAFOL' and 'JesseCarley' for your kind words and it's a backpack sprayer in orange (only because yellow or white wasn't available at Toy Corner yesterday ). I hope this one passes the approval stage on Ideas, I'll post about it in this topic if it's approved. Keep watching......on any suggestions because I'm going to design an add-on structure as this is a corner building and the main highway is going to run beside it ? Edit - my luck is going bad again, just as I was posting this Ideas rejected it because of the photography......dam lead photo lighting, crap I don't have photo studio. Plus only a simple Cybershot............Tiger needs cheering up. Edited May 21, 2015 by lightningtiger Quote
lightningtiger Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Finally Ideas allowed it, here's the link https://ideas.lego.com/projects/103472, it already has 11 supports and fingers crossed for many more. Not sure if I need to make any more changes yet. Keep watching ! Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Just a quick update.......(guess what it is ?) Keep watching ! Quote
