MontyPython Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 When I thought I saw everything ... Amazing work! Quote
Koenta Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) WOW, very nice MOC. I love the little details. What also helps is that I'm a huge AT-AT fan Edited May 21, 2015 by Koenta Quote
Samppu Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Simply marvellous. Right away to my favourites! -Samppu Quote
Mr Greeble Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) Very fun! The comparison between the picture and the build is cool. Edited May 21, 2015 by Mr Greeble Quote
peffour Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Nice MOC! I also really dig the concept art...I guess I have a crush for recycled empire/republic vehicles, anyone has seen the Rebels episode with a Republic Gunship on top of a cantina entrance? Curious to know if it's a ship hidden in the AT AT... Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 I've been waiting for this and it's better than I even dreamed! The AT-AT is absolutely superb, but the desert landscape really catches my eye. It looks so good, and looks like how a desert should. The debis really fills out the landscape, and makes it feel worn. This is really pumping me up for TFA now. Anyways, it's still a fantastic build. Quote
songwm Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Oh my god, such stunning work!! The sand use tiles/slopes to do, looks much better and realistic. And the falling AT AT highly resembled the movie scene. Quote
MartinCliffe Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Fabulous work. I love the sand dunes! This just makes me want to see the movie even sooner! Quote
Azrielsc Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I saw the concept art and was thinking to myself, no way that you would be able to capture it in bricks... Boy was I wrong!! Lovely!! Absolutely perfect! Quote
La Chupacabra Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) It`s my first AT in minifig scale Could you put minifigure next to the head and body and make some photo ? Edited May 22, 2015 by La Chupacabra Quote
markus1984 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 (edited) WOW – Thanks very much for this stunning feedback! Really nice you like the MOC @La Chupacabra Could you put minifigure next to the head and body and make some photo ? No problem! Here are the pics – hope they are ok for you? The AT-AT could be e little bit bigger but I do my best to make it in the “right” size to a minifig but its very difficult to find the correct proportions. But when I build the “new” AT-AT i made it a bit bigger. I have look at so many pictures with the size between the AT and an real human and think its ok. So I can also say thanks very much to all! markus Edited May 22, 2015 by markus1984 Quote
Balbo Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Incredible work I love how you made the ground and the AT AT Quote
Robianco Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Where to start on something like this?! It's one thing for someone to make a MOC of an AT-AT... and one that's close to minifig scale... but to have that AT-AT almost outdone by the beauty of the sandlines is incredible. That base in EPVII looks great and if Lego decide to make something similar then they're going to have to go above and beyond to be able to compare it to this. This is just fantastic work! Quote
