Blufiji Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 You may not have an abundance of these colors, but I would've liked to see more tan/dark tan in the landscape to represent a more desert atmosphere. I know kaliphilin is a land of many landscapes, but the dominant color is tan, sprinkled with it's variants-sand green, dark tan, sand red etc. The fortress is a very nicely built, and I feel would stand out even more in a desert oasis environment. Captain Dee Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Lovely composition! The central wooden gatehouse structure looks good and the rock walls and towers are fantastic - from all angles. I like the shape and texture of the base. But too many colors?! Surely they jest. Numerous builders have been praised for making colorful bases using most of those same colors - with the difference being that they blended the colors together somewhat randomly rather than grouping them as shown here. Do that and this will be eye-popping. Oh, and before I forget - nice job with the story, too. You write very, very good and you obviously put about as much effort into it as the build itself. Everyone may not express appreciation but having two equally good components is especially noteworthy. Keep it up! Quote

Yes, I understand your sentiment, but I do have other places at which I posted this to think about as well, Namely Zorthan and Anvard. Lovely composition! Robin Creations Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Gee, you get really busy for a few weeks and you miss a lot ! This is a wonderful build; one of your best. I love the landscaping and the walls look excellent. I think this is one of your best builds yet Quote

Yeah, that's mostly due to the fact that I could care less about GoH for a while, and I had to catch up with my LOM posts, etc. But I should be back relatively often now, since I have a plot going now.
