Milan Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I am sure many of use here can not visualize how big it actually is. Can I suggest that you made one non edited picture with the model next to the chair or something? Or you standing next to it? Just to be able to put it in perspective. Quote
D3K Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 That is pretty spectacular! Granted, it's not Technically complex in the traditional sense of the word (function wise), but building something this huge with that amount of detail presents a whole lot of other problems to overcome, that most of us are not facing when building more "normal" stuff! Both the excavator and dozer are fantastic models in their true rights! Great work Davekuhh! Quote
Davekuhh Posted September 25, 2015 Author Posted September 25, 2015 thanks guys for the nice comments, I uploaded next week a picture from the Caterpillar on display how to show him on Lego World Quote
kieran Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Shocked, looks amazing. Can't believe the amount of work needed to create this. Well done Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Like i already said to you at the Lowlug forum, that this is a masterpiece and loved big scale high detail models. You have learned so quick in a short time and have deep respect for your skills. One advice for Legoworld: Put a lot of drool cups around your Cat and Volvo . Quote

Blakbird Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 I was going to say you posted the wrong picture because I couldn't see any minifigure in that image, but then I realized it was that tiny little speck next to the treads! Quote

Edwin Korstanje Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 (edited) This is the saddest I've ever been about not being Dutch. Please Blakbird, come next year to Legoworld even your are not being Dutch ( the org is searching for people and Lugs like you) DaveKuhh is the best new-comer for building stunning big scaled models in my mind . The photo's of his moc's don't give the right perspective and are in real so much more better that you got lost in all the details. This year at Legoworld was the quality so high with so many great builders that blow your mind. Here are only the names from our friends that you know here at EB at the Technic and Modelteam forum. @Sheepo from Spain, @Davekuhh, @2LegoOrNot2Lego, @Legotrucks, @Barman, @JurgenKrooshoop, @Mahjqa, @Bricksonwheels, @NKLE, @ DesignerHan, @Konajra, @LegoMathijs and myself @VFracinteam. For people who has intrest to come next year to Legoworld Netherlands, please contact legoworldnederland@gmail.com Edited October 30, 2015 by VFracingteam Quote
Jim Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 The Caterpillar is stunning, no doubt about it. But what I like even more are the tracks on the ground behind it. You've flattened the ground where the Caterpillar has driven. That, my man, is eye for detail!! Quote
nerdsforprez Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 They are almost too real. You are lucky some little toddler didn't go rouge and try to hop on in and drive one around  Quote
