Lind Whisperer Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 *Last They are Chopper's torso from Star Wars Rebels. They don't list it on Bricklink in dark bluish gray being that it's a minifig part. Now if only they were released in black. That way I can start my Skullkin mining facility a la Lego Universe...An official in-game model, or a custom? (I'm presuming custom, since LU didn't use part designs that didn't exist in anything but minifigs...)Speaking of Lego Universe... I can't make any assumptions at this point for "Worlds" for if I do, I fear that I'll be seriously disappointed in the end.I know - the game we got was wonderful, but the worlds the trailers promised us... jamesster Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Somebody who commented on the Hoth Bricks article says the following (http://www.hothbricks.com/2015/05/lego-worlds-le-prochain-jeu-video-lego/): Pour info, on a eu une droit à une démo du truc lors de notre voyage payant au pays de la brique. C'est vraiment du Minecraft en puissance avec exploration et construction in-game, via une interface semblable à celle de LDD. Run through Google Translate: FYI, we had a right to a demo of the thing during our paid trip to the land of the brick. It's really Minecraft power with exploration and building in-game, via an interface similar to that of LDD. (I assume they're talking about the LEGO Inside Tour or something similar) Quote
adotnamedstud Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Well, isn't this fantastic? I've gotten pretty bored with MC. Want to see what LEGO can do! Quote
XAxles Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Well, isn't this fantastic? I've gotten pretty bored with MC. Want to see what LEGO can do! Just think: A world as big as Minecraft, but with just about every LEGO part past, present and future in place of Minecraft elements (well, maybe not past LEGO parts)... It'd create a new kind of MOCing that'd really rock. Quote

(Like The End/Nether) EDIT: Does anyone else see the Yeti in the promo? And he was the only CMF rumored to have a Dimensions pack... Hmm. Quote
Tuttu: What we saw was not very convincing, but it was really good for the beta. The world is full to building blocks, everything is changeable at will, is fluid but it smells really the trick in La minecraft. You cross skeletons banged it takes, you can build whatever you want, the kind a plane if you have to move around etc ... Edited May 27, 2015 by jamesster Quote
SuperGeniusCreator Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 "Minecraft power with exploration and building in-game, via an interface similar to that of LDD." YES, YES, YES, YES, YES!!! Quote
jamesster Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 There's a company called Lani Pixels that does 3D stuff for LEGO and TT Games, here's some 3D concepts they did for the LEGO Fusion games: https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/or_tv1_060.jpg https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/or5_620.jpg https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/lfb2_310.jpg https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/or7_670.jpg There's also these two images in their gallery... Possible 3D concepts for LEGO Worlds? They're listed as "Animation" though... https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/sb_0510.jpg https://lanipixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/sb_0610.jpg Quote
Master_Data Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 EDIT: Does anyone else see the Yeti in the promo? And he was the only CMF rumored to have a Dimensions pack... Hmm. I'm pretty sure we proved that was Doc Brown in the Dimensions picture... Quote
Lind Whisperer Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 https://lanipixels.c.../08/sb_0510.jpg https://lanipixels.c.../08/sb_0610.jpg Yeah, those trees can only be from Worlds - that 2x2 building style is too much of an infringement on Minecraft to not be from Worlds. The "Animation" tag suggests that they'll be from in-game cutscenes or a game trailer. Probably a trailer. Some minifig - dressed in a Ninjago Fire shirt, interestingly - exploring a new world, braving new terrain, etc., etc. Quote
Rob1321 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I've been wanting a ldd type video game for a long time. A build whatever you want game. Wonder why it's taken lego so long to release something like this on a modern console? Quote
ToaDraco Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I'm fascinated. Hopefully it is something like what people thought LEGO Universe was going to be. Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 I hope it'll bring back some of what LEGO Universe actually was. I thought LEGO Universe was fantastic, and I'm sorry to have seen it go. Quote
Hypernova888 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Damn, if this is true... Well, it'd better be! I love that if this is the case, there's a more linear grand adventure game, and an open-world build game. Like the two base pieces of LEGO Universe, more fully realised. RIP LU, but we may be getting two games better! Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I hope it will have survival options and taming! :D Quote
LegoSjaak Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 This picture caused a headline on a dutch news-site... http://www.nu.nl/games/4057968/lego-werkt-minecraft-achtige-game.html Quote
lapu Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Back in 2013 i proposed a Minecraft like game on Cuusoo (lego ideas). It got some likes but then lego changed the policy to bricks only. Details about my game idea can be found here: http://www.future-id...-you-would.html I think it will be a matter of time before lego create such a game, I only wish i was part of creating it Edited May 29, 2015 by lapu Quote

Commander Strax Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 I hope we get an official announcement and a reveal trailer soon because lego worlds looks very good. Quote
The Indivisible Woman Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 If it's genuinely going ahead, this could be fantastic. I always found LEGO Creator a bit limiting - although the Harry Potter and Knights Kingdom ones were fun for what they were - but considering all that can be done with videogames these days, this is sure to be the ultimate building game out there! AyliffeMakit Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) http://store.steampo...com/app/332310/ This game just exceeded amazing. Edited June 1, 2015 by AyliffeMakit Quote
Commander Strax Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Will lego worlds be just a pc game when it is released or will it be a console game? Quote
Master_Data Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 That is incredible! Can't wait for the full version! Quote
