Log: 26 Maian 3815

Location: Barker's Folly D02 Asteroid Belt

Begin Log:

Just arrived at Barker's Folly from Torresta. I plan to scout out the area and try to find the areas richest with awesomnium. I'll also collect some rock samples to send back to the lab.

The M.A.N.T.I.S. Stryker is the perfect choice for this mission. Compact enough to weave between the asteroids yet large enough to defend itself against any danger it might face!

The Stryker only needs its single aft propulsor to zoom to its objective!

In depth analysis of the scouting craft:

Just an interesting technique for the back of the craft. Quite proud of the way it turned out!

Just found an awsomnium vein! Time to report back to home base!

End Log.

Can anyone direct me to a glare/reflection-reducing tutorial? Didn't notice it until now!

Really great shape on this little ship!

I'd also like to know this.

Best method I've come up with is to use some tissue as a cheap (almost free...) filter on the lights to cut down on the direct lighting. Or you could go crazy and purchase some actual diffused lighting doodads. Sometimes I have to lengthen the shutter speed to account for the lower amount of light on the build because of the kleenex.

Love this little space craft! Very M.A.N.T.I.S. ! The Stryker is a perfect balance on design and colors. Well done. :sweet:

Thank you!

I have actual diffusers, but they don't help with reflections. LEGO is just too shiny!

Thanks! We have hundreds of thousands of these just waiting to swarm the galaxy, M.A.N.T.I.S. style!

This calls for a digital picture of hundreds of both these and MCFs.

I've been working on one, but I don't have much free time and my photo editing program just stopped working. :wall:

I'll try to do so before the deadline!

EDIT: MCF?
