Thanks for the game Bob, it was really fun!

I kept protecting TPRU because I was not in the town block per se and as such I felt he was the glue that held the block together as I did not know if had a group PM and his death would mean we would loose that link between us.

I didn't actually start a town block group PM until Day 4, as no one was really verified until that point. That's why I kept asking you for protection. The watcher/tracker role is pretty valuable too - the information you get can't usually be manipulated (by a godfather/framer, for instance) so in some ways it's a better role than cop.

My role was particularly weird, and I'm honestly surprised TPRU believed it, as well as glad that Bob made last minute adjustments that made me town rather than scum.

That role was so ridiculous I didn't expect a scum to make it up. Plus, since the punch appeared at the start of each day, it was easy to verify. Even if you were scum, you would have been forced to keep using a useless role every night rather than taking a proper scum action.

Quarry was the best lynch we forced, based on him having a bottle of wine in the pictures in a game about prohibition. "He has booze, he must be scum!"

I think I was the one who first brought that up.:devil:

Everything always seems to work out when you obey Shadows!

And Draggy too...for some reason.

Thanks everyone!

Just wondering, Bob, when you host, do you give out roles to the characters and then assign them to players.

I didn't think that was usually done, but you said that TK's character was originally supposed to be scum or something like that.

Yeah, the roles and characters are all pre-selected and put on a list like you'll see at the start of every day. Then I put the list of people who've signed up on a randomizer and match them up by number. TrumpetKing himself wasn't originally meant to be scum, but his character was.

And Draggy too...for some reason.

but not both at the same time.... that can only lead to furry disaster. :sceptic:

It's a fine line we walk.

I don't think I ever told Shadows this, but when he approached me the last night, my very first instinct was to kill him! Thankfully I changed my mind and followed his plan instead! Everything always seems to work out when you obey Shadows!

That was back in the days when being on my team meant winning, now I'm just a metagamed liability. :cry_sad: Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

You may have been. It was so delightfully evil, and then he turned out to be an undercover cop or something. Just perfect on so many levels.

I look forward to a game with you, Tammo, Hinckley, and Draggy. That'll be an interesting one.

I would have to agree. A game with many of the veterans would sure be a lot of fun! :sweet:

You looked pretty towny, but I had a funny feeling about you since I've never played with town-you and I'm always a bit wary of people who are really convincing when they're scum.

You probably shouldn't have voted for JJP, though. That messed things up for Sandy big-time, and you too to some extent. But well played! :classic:

Yea, speaking of which, why did you up and vote for me all of a sudden? Did you see Brian as town and me as scum? I guess it was just a coincidence that you and MT voted for me at near the same time.

It was already sorta answered, but yes, it was 100% coincidence that two of us voted JJP at the same time. I was looking for SOMEONE that I could build an actual case against to try and save my scumbuddy from a lynch, and just went after JJP because I could. Unfortunately, while I was taking a while coming up with that post, someone else jumped in and coincidentally did teh same thing. Argh!

It wasn't so much that others did it too; even if you'd done it alone it would've looked suspicious.

True, but even townie-me would have done the same thing. I didn't like the lynch, so I was looking for a legit alternative. Heck, go back through any of my old games and I almost always am fighting the lynch and proposing better choices. Maybe I oughta stop, since it never seems to go well for me :)

Thanks Bob for hosting!

Thanks Shadows, MostlyTechnic, and Sandy for being scummos to the end!

Milano forever!

Sorry if it felt like I just gave up at the end; I was on a plane for vacation when the reveal came about me being blocked and therefore no scum kill. When the votes started piling up and I was posting from mobile it was just too hard to keep defending myself. I knew that telling TPRU anything about my role was a mistake - no matter what I picked I'd get called out for it. But I couldn't just say nothing.

Anyway, thanks all, good game!
