Can't wait for the new series now. The Asylum Of The Daleks looks amazing!

Has anyone else wondered when the Doctor's daughter will come back? Well, if ever. In the episode "The Doctor's Daughter" she just leaves in a spaceship at the end, it's rather ambiguous and I've always wondered if she'll come back.

The 50th anniversary episode maybe :classic:.

That's really awesome!

There's a preview screening today in NYC with Matt, Karen, and Exec. Prod. Caroline Skinner. I'd have loved to go, but tickets sold out online in 20 minutes >.>

I've just seen Asylum of the Daleks, you're in for a treat guys, it's a belter! xD

The rest of us will just have to make do with this teaser trailer for the time being...

I'm looking so far forward to the new episodes - and actually, far is a very apt word for it. It's only two months since they finished airing Season 5 in Denmark, so I'm afraid I might have to wait two years for the new episodes (unless I get the DVDs from Amazon, or some kind soul decides to do it for me at christmas). =)

So what was THAT about?

More magic humans.

Seriously, they used pretty much the same process as the Daleks from Bad Wolf/Parting of the Ways, and non of them managed to fight off the Dalek.

A Prime Minister *huh*, David Cameron is evil, but not to Dalek standards surly , what ever happened to the Emperors?

Once again, the new series has just ignore the fifty years of Doctor Who before. Daleks have EMPERORS or SUPREME DALEKs, not Prime Ministers. :hmpf:

Matt Smith is a good Doctor, but he is let down by the script writers on many a occassion.

Also, since when have Daleks had a Parliament? The Dalek Empire has been totalitarian for as long as the Doctor has been fighting them.

Loved it! I thought the Dalek Parliament idea was cool...

Oswin is SO the Doctor's Daughter, I am willing to bet money on this. ;D

Well that was interesting..

Prime Minister works I think because the Emperor is dead and there was a Supreme Dalek (the white one)

PM is probably a honorary authority.

Clara/Oswin might be the Doctor's daughter...same chair and all..

One thing I found weird is that how can her dream affect the real world?

Guys rewatch the Doctor's Daughter recognize something?

I noticed that as well!

When they announced a new assistant with a "big link to the Doctor" it just has to be his daughter.

I also did some 'lil research into the name "Oswin", apparently it means "God's Friend"

So... The Man Who Never Would, straight up murdered that dude. That was slightly weird.

I mean, he tried to save megablocking Davros, (Y'know the guy with a Reality Destroying Bomb) but some awful trader who shot a dinosaur and killed some lizard people gets murdered horribly.

Episode was alright. Pretty Standard Chibnall. Mark Williams owned.

Yes! Exactly what you said, I was explaining that to someone else today.

I was wondering about that, too.

But then again this isn't the Tennant Doctor. Maybe this is the start of a story arc where the Doctor gets a little...darker?

Certain events that are said to happen in episdoe five may cement this...and then it's up to the new assistant to redeem him in some way?
