Posted May 31, 20159 yr Saw this and had to share, looks fantastic in White!!....its probably easier to make this in White as the nesscary panels are cheap and readily available, those uber rare long Yellow panels are too expensive now.
May 31, 20159 yr Very nice. Reminds me of an EV3 version I saw about two (?) years ago at BrickWorld Chicago, before the EV3 officially came out.
May 31, 20159 yr This looks great in all white. In fact I'd vote to says it's better white than yellow. I did a color swap on my Racers Enzo to all white. I think it looks better white than red. Just search YouTube for white Enzo and it will show up!
June 2, 20159 yr I recently saw the 8043 excavator and decided that it would make a good project. The instruction have been up loaded and the parts gathering has begun. Do you have any experience with this kit or the 8043 MOC that you would care to share ? Edited June 2, 20159 yr by Karle
June 3, 20159 yr This Excavator looks very good in white... I have to collect more white bricks... :-/
June 3, 20159 yr Certainly easier to get the parts in white than in yellow—those #5 and #6 panels aren't as common as I'd like, and there's 5 each in this (!!!)
June 5, 20159 yr 42039 has 2 of each I meant the yellow ones. LARGE requirement for the original 8043: http://brickset.com/sets/containing-part-4558817I've actually got all the pieces for this in white, as original yellow was prohibitive. I'm looking forward to building it.
August 1, 20159 yr How do I build this ? Where do I source for the complete part list ? Noob here pls guide :)
August 1, 20159 yr How do I build this ? Where do I source for the complete part list ? Noob here pls guide :) It is a normal 8043 set, instructions can be found on Brickset, or LEGO.com. Just replace all yellow parts (maybe except knobs) with white ones.
