Posted April 3, 200519 yr hey! does anybody know what's next on shop@home? i've heard rumors about santa fe wagons and normal train wagons, but i'd like to see these rumors confirmed. and other news about what's to come is also very welcome! ;)
April 3, 200519 yr Well there is going to be some sort of S@H Exclusive train wagon around May, I think, all though that might not be the correct date. Other than that there's only the Sandcrawler that we know of.
April 4, 200519 yr I haven't heard any rumors about train car(s) in May. Is this a credible rumor? Most rumors come FROM Eurobricks, so I'd say it is. ;)
April 4, 200519 yr Governor ARRRRRRG!!! Shopping at home is a very expensive practice when ye live in the southern hemisphere and the shop is in the northern hemisphere! ARRRRRRG!!!
April 4, 200519 yr another problem is that i'm never at home. so they drop the box at the post office, which is understaffed, so I have to wait in line for half an hour at least to get my box... it's a pain in the neck...
April 4, 200519 yr Also there's the fact of human contact and browsing with the real boxes in the hand and not just a simple pictre online ;) I really like to enter into a toy store and try to gather good information on upcoming sets (the only problem is that I have a better knowledge on the subject that the guys working there :-D )
April 4, 200519 yr Governor I've got a better way of shopping from Lego.com I wait a couple of months after the set is available giving it sufficient time to proliferate through the eBay sellers. Then I wait in hiding for a local novice eBay seller... These sellers are great! They don't usually know how to describe the set so the less experienced eBay buyers won't be able to find it. They also don't have a full understanding of the sets value and tend to set the starting bid too low. Then I come along and bid then win the auction for around 50% of the sets actual value. Since its a local seller the postage is much much cheaper. I'm very pleased when I suceed at this. Thank you and good night

April 4, 200519 yr trains in 2005? i'm not saying this is definately right but a while ago there were some pictures on brickshelf of a 2005 train set. The pictures aren't there now. It was a yellow flatbed wagon with either white 2x10 or 2x8 plates on it stake dup in about groups on ten. The set also included a red flatbed lorry like the one in 4514 - the cargo crane. This link has a picture of the what looks like PROTOTYPE flatbed wagon Brickshelf jpay said its just computerised stuff, but it is similar to what i saw

April 7, 200519 yr No we don't. Legends use the original colors. We want NEW lines that use the NEW colors so we can stock up on them, rebuild our collections, while still getting excellent NEW sets.
April 7, 200519 yr I want to see classic sets. That's what makes it a Legend. If it's in new colors, then it might as well be a new set.

April 7, 200519 yr All I'm saying is that releasing Legends will give us more parts that are incompatible with the new blays/brown. It'd be better to get a NEW line similar to past lines (provided that it's decent) using the new colors. Besides, how about a little variety in sets? The same old ones over and over gets boring.

The same old ones over and over gets boring. naturally TLC would have to change a few things on every new legend. A galaxy explorer wouldn't have the old grey color, but the new light grey color... Former legends have been changed as well... would that be a problem for a new legend? i don't know... i guess it depends on the set.
